dear expectant mother

We cannot imagine the hard decision you are trying to make regarding your child’s future, and we want you to know how courageous we find you to be. You want the best for your child, and we hope to be given the opportunity to provide it. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better and for considering us to be the family that loves and raises your child. We would be so blessed to have the opportunity to be the family that welcomes your child into our arms, and we hope to assure you that your child will be loved and snuggled, that he or she will have so much fun learning, exploring, and experiencing new things with friends and family who wish him or her the best.

We can’t wait to teach and share our family traditions of summer adventures and Christmas Eve joy. We hope, during this time, you can find some peace, strength, and comfort knowing we are here to support you and continue any level of communication with us that you wish. Your child will know your story and how grateful we are to be chosen as your child’s adoptive parents.

About Us

We are Dan and Lindsay. We’ve been together for 11 years, and we’ve spent nine of those years married! We are a family of three who enjoy spending time with each other, our extended family, our friends, and our dogs. A typical weekend with us usually involve going to the movies movies, hanging out with friends, and having family over for dinners! We have both earned our Bachelor’s degrees, and we are established in our careers, emotionally stable, and ready to bring another child into our lives. We are a warm and loving family, and we feel we can provide a wonderful life full of love, happiness, and fulfillment for your child.

Our Home & Pets

We live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, residing in a cozy little home filled with love. We have a full front yard and fenced backyard with plenty of room to play, too! There is a park right across the street, and our neighborhood is filled with young families and retired folks who work together to keep the neighborhood safe. Lindsay is a stay-at-home mom, and she likes taking advantage of the “Mommy and Me” classes offered nearby, and there are a variety of restaurants, places of worship, and local activities we can’t wait to share. We also have three Boston Terriers: Tux, Jack, and Bullseye. We love them with all our heart and consider them a part of the family!

Our Extended Family

Our families are awesome! Our immediate and extended families are both looking forward to welcoming another child into our family.

Lindsay has one brother, who lives and works locally; her mom resides mainly in FLorida (Disney World, here we come!), and her dad lives in Washington, D.C. Dan’s mom and brother are both local, but many of his family reside in Wisconsin.

We are a great group that gets together frequently and get along quite well! In the summer months, we head up north to a family cottage, where we take the speed boat out on the lake, have cookouts, and spend time on the beach. Our Christmas Eve celebration is a bustling evening fill of food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs and presents! We consider ourselves very blessed to have such great families who support our adoption journey with all their hearts.

Our Adoption Story

We were called to adoption after a two-and-a-half year struggle with infertility and multiple miscarriages. We realized adoption is the perfect plan for us to build our family. We love being parents, and we look forward to providing your child with a lifetime of love, fulfillment, and support. We adopted out son over a year ago, and we have seen first-hand how joyous and wonderful adoption can be! Our guarantee is that we can offer a child a life where they will be loved unconditionally, thrive, and feel supported by ourselves and extended family. We believe adoption is our calling, and raising your child would be the absolute best gift we could ever receive.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
