dear expectant mother
Thank you for your extraordinary courage and expression of pure love for bringing such a blessing into this world and choosing life. You are the epitome of courage, strength, compassion, and perseverance. Meeting you will be one of the highlights of our lives on every level. Our excitement grows daily as we look at our children and envision them including their new sister or brother in playtime, dinner, bedtime, and before school. Grace is a little momma herself, reading aloud to her baby dolls in anticipation of reading to the baby at bedtime.
The promise we make to you is that we will supply unlimited and unconditional love to your little one, as we do now with our Landon and Grace. The memories and the years will be full of growth, love, and cherished moments that we know will give us the fuller family we have envisioned and prayed for.
As we get to know one another, we want your experience and journey to be filled with a sense of purpose and peace. Please feel free to be you and to lean on us as much as you may need. We will be there every step of the way. We love you already and can’t wait to love you more.
Dan, Alisabeth, Landon, Grace, and the dogs (North & Tucker)
Alisabeth works from home in sales and business development, and Dan is an underwriting manager. We are college sweethearts from 1996. From the first moment we met on campus in August of ’96, we “just knew” and were married five years later. We became parents to our firstborn, Landon, in 2007 and our second love of a lifetime, Grace, in 2010. While Landon is on the ASD spectrum, he is also the spunkiest and most loving child you’ll ever meet. Our years together, has given us wisdom, insight, and empathy as well as an important understanding of life and love. We’ve been through some of the most challenging times together, like being broke and living in a tiny trailer. We now live in a spacious home that we appreciate as part of our journey. We are absolute best friends and remain steadfast in our unconditional love.
Our Home & Pets
We have a four-bedroom, four-bath home with a grassy backyard and mountain views, starry nights, and jets flying overhead. There are roomy playrooms to explore and many fun spots to play hide and seek, like the hide-away closet that tunnels under the staircase. Laughter often echoes through the house with dogs and guinea pigs that love children as much as we do! Make-up/dress-up activities or American Girl doll playtime can be had with Grace or Lego building with Landon. Fun, freedom, and creativity are the best parts of being here, and there are just a few important rules about safety and being polite and kind. We live in a family neighborhood with community holiday parties and swimming.
Our Extended Family
Through 23 years of togetherness and marriage, we’ve created our own traditions that flex with time. At Christmas, we can’t wait to bring baby to Zoo Lights with Nana and Papa and friends, and a children’s performance of The Nutcracker ballet. Baby will LOVE the drive-through giant light display set to music, and sledding in Flagstaff! We’ll bring baby on family bike rides, and to the park. The Fourth of July is on our wedding anniversary, so fireworks and BBQ are a must. Ice cream after school, swinging at the park, and our beloved Aunt Carrie, Aunt Nicole and Grandma, Grandpa will visit baby here in AZ each year. To turn up the volume, lip syncing and dancing while making supper with the neighbor kids keeps us young! We love heading to Barrett Jackson Auction, an endless array of beautifully kept classic and supercars. The Blue Angels and USAF Thunderbirds fly in the airshows here, a true favorite. Museums, swimming, watching University of Michigan football, Sunday NFL games, and MLB baseball are ways we enjoy kicking back. Guitar, piano, and voice exploration are encouraged as Alisabeth is a musician and Dan a football player and avid all-sports fan.
What Led Us To Adoption
We openly discussed becoming adoptive parents years ago. After Grace arrived, Alisabeth could no longer bear children, so we knew we’d adopt in future years if God willed it. Sure enough, He did, and we are now waiting to meet our beautiful birthmother. Alisabeth’s close friend, Dulcye, was adopted at age 3. Her story is awe inspiring. She loves both her adoptive mom and birth mom for their unconditional love. Our neighbors have two adopted children, one with special needs, and their family inspires everyone they meet. The support around us is full of hope as we journey toward adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
