dear expectant mother
We are so grateful for the blessing that you’re bringing into this world and the possibility of being a part of their life. We are incredibly excited to be fathers. Please know that we do not take lightly the honor of being considered as adoptive parents for your baby. We will live each day raising this precious gift with that reminder in our hearts and minds.
We can’t imagine what this process must be like for you: the challenges you’ve had to face and the strength you’ve had to muster to even consider the possibility of adoption. Your baby will grow up knowing they had a courageous, loving mother who made the best decision she could and honored us with the amazing gift that they are—the most amazing gift we could have ever hoped for.
Your baby will not only be raised in a loving home but in a family and community built on faith in God, acceptance, celebration of the unique gifts we each bring to the world, and a sincere commitment to each other’s physical and emotional safety. They will be surrounded by a strong network of love and support and other adoptive families who are familiar with the unique challenges and questions adoptive children may experience. With us, your baby will live every day knowing they are loved, they are safe, and they are never alone.
About Us
Hi. We are Romell and Damion, two down-to-earth guys in Missouri with a whole lot of love to give. We both knew we wanted to be fathers since we were children and made it clear while we were dating how important it is to each of us. We actually met on social media and became fast friends. This gave us an opportunity to talk and get to know each other over time, building a strong foundation that has lasted for 11 years now. Living in Missouri all of his life, Romell is a fun-loving, introverted pastor who loves to play cards, bowl, and watch sci-fi. Damion is an outgoing social butterfly who is active in the community and works as an executive assistant. He moved from Alabama to Missouri to be with Romell, and it’s been nothing but love ever since!
Our Home
We absolutely adore our three-bedroom, two-bathroom, ranch-style home in suburban Missouri. We have both a living room and a family room as well as an unfinished basement just waiting to double our living space! The backyard backs up to a large common area that is jointly owned by the neighbors on our side of the street. There’s plenty of room to run and play and an amazing view that we often sit on our back patio and enjoy. We’ve been blessed with some awesome, diverse neighbors who look out for each other. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet, and our community has plenty of fun things to do. There’s never a reason to be bored.
Our Extended Family
We’ve been blessed with amazing and supportive families who are unbelievably excited for us to adopt. Romell has two brothers and a sister, two nephews, three nieces, and a great-nephew. Damion has a brother, sister-in-law and a niece who recently turned one. Although both of our fathers have passed, we’re very close to our mothers, and our mothers have become great friends! For holidays, we alternate spending Thanksgiving and Christmas between Missouri, where we and Romell’s family live, and where Damion’s family lives in Alabama. We get together every other week to spend time with Romell’s grandmother and close family friends to play Grandmother’s favorite game (bid whist). We Facetime with Damion’s mother, brother and sister-in-law a few times a week and keep up with what’s going on in each other’s lives. It’s great being able to build a relationship with Damion’s one-year-old niece over Facetime so that when she sees us in person, we aren’t strangers
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known we wanted to be fathers, and adoption is the best route for us. We have three families who are very close to us who have adopted, and their stories have been such an inspiration. One family adopted locally, another from a neighboring state, and a third internationally. Yet in each of those families, love is the common thread that has made their families strong and supportive. We look forward to the same!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
