Dear Birthmom

First and foremost, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you are considering and for your sacrifice. Words cannot truly express the honor you would be bestowing upon us by allowing us to raise your baby. We will never, ever forget it. It is a dream that could never be realized without your willingness to put your trust and confidence in us. We will truly cherish your child and we vow to fulfill all your wishes and dreams that you have for your baby. We endeavor to love, protect, nurture, and provide the best and most loving home and environment for your baby.

The gift of life is so precious and we do not take this lightly. We can’t possibly know how you feel, but hope that we can offer a small amount of comfort in that we want the best for you and your baby, no matter what choice you make and we support you in your journey. Again, please know that we cry tears of joy at the possibility of completing our family with a piece of yours. We extend our deepest gratitude to you for considering us as parents.

About Us

We met back in late 2005 after having corresponded via email while Dale was in Iraq in the Army (we met online), and have been together ever since! We got married in 2012 and are ready in every way to have a baby…house, stable life, support…but most of all, an empty space in our hearts yearning for a miracle to love unconditionally. We are down to earth, have fun and take vacations when we can or just take it easy. But also know the value of working hard, a good education, staying honest to who we are, having solid morals, and trying to make good choices. We like to be outdoors and go to places we can take our dog. We like to go to the fair and have funnel cakes or get ice cream on a hot summer day, but we can also have a good time together indoors on a cold, rainy day. All in all, we are just so excited at the potential of finally having a family to call our own and we know that we can offer so much!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a roomy single-family home that backs to trees and is located in a new waterfront development. It has a fenced-in back yard with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a huge basement rec room. Our home is in a safe, family-oriented neighborhood filled with other children of all ages. The community, which is located on the Potomac River, has miles of hiking and biking trails, tot lots, two swimming pools, a fitness center, and is located on a golf course. We are close to a wide array of schools, dining, recreation, and shopping.
The other member of our family is a beautiful adopted husky-shepherd mix named Mika (pronounced Mee-ka). She is about 6 years old and loves to go on walks and sniff everything in sight.

Our Extended Family

Anne-Catherine is an only child and her dad passed away many years ago, but she has maintained a close relationship with her mom. She lives about two blocks away from us so we see her quite a bit. She is so excited about the possibility of finally becoming a grandmother and will provide much needed support. Anne-Catherine's extended family, which consists of her mom’s two sisters and her grandmother, all reside in Hong Kong. We don’t get out to Hong Kong that often, but email/Skype to keep in touch. Both of Dale’s parents have remarried and his maternal grandparents are still alive. He had an older brother that recently passed away, but he also has a younger half-sister. The majority of Dale's family lives in Nebraska and we see them on occasion. They are very accepting and supportive of our adoption journey. We love getting together for reunions and Christmas.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always been in the back of our minds, as we know many people who have adopted, both friends and family. We were not in a hurry to conceive, as we wanted to have a proper home in which to raise a child first; little did we know that we wouldn’t be able to have a child naturally. After going through unsuccessful infertility treatments we knew adoption was the next logical step.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
