dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

I honestly don’t have the words or even know what words would be sufficient. I have been praying for you and your baby as I can’t imagine the range of emotions you must be going through during this time. From the start of this journey, I knew I wanted to start praying for expectant mothers, so I asked my mother for her advice as she was once in your position when she was pregnant with me. I know managing my own emotions isn’t always easy, even though I wish it were, but I try to feel everything that comes up and process as best I can. I hope you are in the best mental health situation you can be as well.

I am forever and eternally grateful for you and this decision you are considering. I want you to know I want to be here for you during this journey, should you choose me. I look forward to getting to know you better. People always say babies are a blessing, and I truly believe that as well. You could possibly bless me with the most precious gift ever, and I will never take that for granted or lightly. Again, I am grateful for you and the decision you are making. I will be forever indebted and THANKFUL should you choose me!

About Me

My name is Daisy, and I’m a Leo and a project manager. In my free time, I volunteer to serve the homeless and senior citizens in my community. My hobbies include traveling, hiking, reading, watching TV, dancing, attending music and food festivals, and hosting my friends and families for dinner parties. My typical day involves me working from home, which allows great flexibility while doing chores in between conference calls and getting in a midday workout on my Peloton and online bootcamp class. In the evening, I may meet some friends for dinner in the summertime, or I cook a small dinner for myself. Some of my other interests include collecting vinyl records and staying abreast of current events.

My Home

I currently live in a medium-sized neighborhood in a three-bedroom ranch home in Georgia. I am currently updating and remodeling! There are nearby parks, shops, and restaurants, so I have everything I need in my area. I go downtown on the weekends to hang out with friends. There is also a movie studio near me, so I see movies being filmed from time to time. I am big on education as my mother is a preschool teacher. The neighborhood is pretty quiet overall (there are kids who play outside in the summer), and I know most of my neighbors on my end of the street.

My Extended Family

I come from a BIG close-knit family. I am the oldest of three and have seven aunts, five uncles, and a host of cousins. We get together for the holidays, summer BBQs, and family reunions and have a GOOD time! My sister has four kids (15, 13, 2, and 1), and as TT, I spoil them rotten. The 15- and 13-year-olds would spend the summers with me when they were younger before they started playing sports and working. I would expose them to different cities, activities, food, etc.

I travel home to NC six or seven times a year to see my nieces and nephews and for the holidays. I am a BIG holiday person, and I love to decorate for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc. My immediate family takes a family vacation every year as well. I FaceTime my parents and my niece and nephews several times a week, and I miss them dearly. My family is very loving and supportive, and they are excited I am on this adoption journey.

What Led Me To Adoption

I am so excited to be on the road to adoption! I wrote in my high school yearbook that I would have twins and adopt. The twins never happened, but the desire to be a mother never left me. My mother almost placed me for adoption, and ever since she shared that part of her story with me, I always knew I wanted to adopt because I would have wanted to be adopted into a loving and safe home. I have a few friends from high school who were adopted as well as a family friend who adopted a daughter as a single mother. This is something I have thought about for years and researched thoroughly, and I am excited to be on this journey!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
