dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering us to be the parents of your precious child! Although we haven't met yet and your unique circumstances are unknown to us, we can sympathize with your situation. Cristiane grew up with an aunt and a cousin adopted as babies. It is now our turn to embark on this journey and embrace the unexpected.
We are certain we will welcome and love this baby as our own child, caring tenderly for them. We are confident God can bless your child through us with love, strong principles and values, a safe and stable home, a warm and supportive community with lots of multicultural children, proper health care, a high level of education, opportunities for leisure, musical education, socialization, and sports, besides learning a second and third language since we speak three languages ourselves.
We would be honored to walk alongside you and support you at any level you’re comfortable with on this journey. After your baby is born, if you choose us, the decision to keep in contact or not will be in your hands, knowing we are open to it.
We wish you and your child blessings no matter what choice you make.
Love,
Cristiane, Bernardo, and Bianca
About Us
Hi there! We are Bernardo and Cristiane from Florida. We have known each other for 18 years, and we got married in 2009. We moved to the United States in 2014, and we really enjoy living here. We have a six-year-old daughter, Bianca, who has been asking for a younger sibling for years. We love traveling, playing together, participating in outdoor activities, watching good movies, and surrounding ourselves with friends and family. Bernardo is trustworthy, witty, and compassionate. Cristiane is funny, hospitable, and nurturing. Our home environment is full of love and care. Bernardo has worked for the same company, the one that allowed us to move to the U.S., for more than ten years. He has a very stable position as a software engineer working from home. Cristiane is a stay-at-home mom, so we all have plenty of time together as a family.
Our Home
We own a three-bedroom home with a spacious living room, grassy backyard, deck, and gazebo. Our neighborhood is near a woody area. We often see colorful birds, ducks, bunnies, and deer. It is a family-friendly area, quiet and safe. We have a wonderful, brand-new playground. We are an hour’s drive from beautiful beaches, a few minutes from several parks, and less than an hour away from the theme parks and children’s museums. We live in one of the best school districts in the whole state! There are also two major hospitals within a few minutes from us.
Our Extended Family
Our extended family lives in Brazil. Because we miss them very much, we made it a tradition to spend the holiday season there. That way we strengthen our bonds. We look forward to our trip the whole year. We also schedule weekly video calls with our dear ones.
We also have a wonderful church family nearby whom we trust and rely upon as if they were our biological family. We spend considerable time involved in one another’s lives. Every Sunday the church members gather in groups for lunch in one another’s homes. Bernardo sometimes uses his lunch time to help out a friend. We meet other families a few times a week for the children to play and do homeschool together and even for practical help. For example, Cristiane took care of a friend’s three children so that she could care for her mother in hospice. We consider it a privilege to have such a close-knit, supportive family outside of our home country.
What Led Us To Adoption
Bianca, our daughter, has been asking for a sibling, and we think it is about time we grow our family. Besides loving kids, we have the will and the financial means to support more children. Bernardo is a patient father who desires to expand our family. Cristiane has purposefully involved herself with children since she was in college. She has worked as a babysitter, teacher, and behavior therapist to autistic kids and is now a homeschooling mom. We are ready and so excited!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
