dear expectant mother
As two men, we will never be able to fully relate to your experience. We admire your courage and strength, recognize the difficulty of your decision, and deeply appreciate your consideration of us in one of the most significant choices of your life.
We truly believe we will be great parents. We do not take this responsibility lightly, and we will make it our purpose to ensure that your baby always feels loved, understood, and valued. Every effort will be made to introduce them to new experiences, teach them to embrace adventures, and raise them with kindness and compassion. We have the resources to support a child and offer them an abundance of opportunities. We have a loving, supportive, and strong system of family and friends who are elated to join us on this journey. In addition to this extensive support system, we welcome any relationship you are comfortable having with us. We want you to know your baby will always know they are surrounded by love and support, including from you.
Your decision will always be one of the most significant parts of our lives, not only because it is the beginning of your baby’s journey but also because it will be the most generous and selfless gift we could ever receive.

We are Craig and Kenneth. We met and began dating in 2015 after Ken relocated to complete his degree in molecular biology. We quickly fell in love and have spent the past few years fostering a strong relationship. In 2020 we were married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by our families and closest friends. Since we began dating, we’ve been fortunate to share in one of our favorite hobbies together—travel—and we’ve spent time visiting Hawaii, Canada, and the Bahamas. Despite our love of travel, most nights you’ll find us at home finishing home improvement projects, working on a puzzle, or enjoying one of our favorite television shows with our dog. We love spending time with friends and family and are looking forward to welcoming a baby into our home. Craig is a senior financial analyst for an insurance company, and Kenneth is a laboratory scientist for a large, multinational corporation.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is located in a quiet, picturesque subdivision with several families raising small children. We are a three-minute walk from two private, association-owned lakes and a playground and just a nine-minute walk to access a stretch of paved biking and walking trails. The location of the neighborhood offers a secluded and safe environment perfect for raising a family. Our four-bedroom, open-concept home with a fenced-in backyard and bi-level patio gives us the perfect space to entertain friends and family. We have one pet, a sweet dog named Theo. Theo is a puggle, eight years young, and loves adults and children.
Our Extended Family
Craig’s parents recently celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary. He has two older siblings, a brother and a sister. He also has five nephews and two nieces. Both of his parents have multiple siblings, and he was raised in the company of extended family. Craig’s family is located almost exclusively in central Illinois, and there are regular gatherings between all sides of the family.
Ken’s parents have been happily married for over 32 years. He has one younger sister who is a teacher in a nearby town. Both of Ken’s parents have only sisters: His mom is the youngest of four sisters, and his dad is the youngest of two children. Between the aunts, there are 11 first cousins, many with children of their own. Most of Ken’s family resides a short car trip away in the Chicagoland area; holiday visits and impromptu trips are frequent by both sides of the family.
We love being so close to our families, and they have all been extremely supportive of both our relationship and our journey to adoption.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve always known we wanted to be parents. Craig has spent 20+ years in the role of uncle, and Ken has held that honorary title to his friends’ and cousins’ children for almost as long. We know we have a lot of love to share and a strong community of support, and we’re excited for the opportunity to blend exciting new experiences with our cherished family traditions. We are prepared for all the responsibilities, struggles, and joys that accompany raising a baby and are eagerly anticipating this adventure. Being chosen as adoptive parents would be the beginning of an amazing new chapter in our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
