dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile! Our names are Craig and Christa and we feel so lucky and honored that you are considering us as adoptive parents for your baby.
We want you to know that we respect your courage and strength to pursue adoption. We understand that placing your baby for adoption is out of love and we admire you for it. We feel that it is so important that you would forever be part of our family’s story. Your child will never wonder about their adoption because it will be a story told openly, based on love. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and loving home for your child and to keep communication as open as you would like it to be, throughout the adoption process and after. Another of our goals is to ensure a quality education for your baby and we will make sure he/she knows that they can be whatever they want to be.
We are each looking forward to different activities. Craig can’t wait to play catch, go sledding and is a wiz at fixing a broken bike chain. Christa will love to help with homework, do art projects, and make great Halloween costumes. Collin and Jillian will happily include the new baby in all of their mischief too. Together we can’t wait to shower him/her with hugs and kisses, spend countless hours at the park, and enjoy family movie nights.
We promise to raise your child in a home filled with love, encouragement, and lots of laughter. We are so excited for the future and we would be honored to bring your baby into our home and into our hearts.
We have been married for 7 years and dated for 2 years before that. Christa and I met at work while pursuing careers as landscape designers. We worked together for almost 7 years and became close friends. After going out on our first date, we realized our dream relationship was right in front of us! We are grateful that we knew each other for such a long time before we got married because we feel it really strengthened our relationship.
We have a son, Collin, from Craig’s previous marriage who is 18. We also have a daughter, Jillian who is 4. When we are not working, we love to do home improvement projects (we haven’t broken any bones yet) and gardening together. We also like going hiking, going to the movies, and eating out. We are huge football fans and love to cheer for the Green Bay Packers. We spend most of our free time going to our sons sporting events, playing with our daughter outside, or visiting with our families for weekend barbeques.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the town where Christa grew up, and where much of her family still lives. We have friendly neighbors, with kids of all ages who often play outside. There are even two other families on our street that recently had newborns so there are plenty of kids to make friends with. The neighborhood is great for taking family walks or bike rides. Our yard is about a ¼ of an acre – the perfect size for playing catch! We recently remodeled our ranch home creating lots of family room space to spread toys all over the floor and watch cartoons. As a bonus, we have several parks within bike-riding distance – one of our favorites even has a splash pad! As nice as any house is though, it is the love on the inside that makes it a perfect home for a family.
We recently rescued a mixed breed puppy, Bailey, from a local shelter. She is a lovable bundle of energy that just loves being part of our family.
Our Extended Family
Family is very important to both of us, and we are extremely lucky to have wonderfully supportive family on both sides. Christa has one older brother and an identical twin sister. We are lucky to have three nieces and one nephew to play board games with, go to the zoo with, and run in the sprinkler with. When that side of the family gets together, it is usually for weekend cookouts and every summer Christa’s dad has an annual corn roast. Craig has one older sister with three kids. His parents live close, and love to spoil their grandkids. They are amazing cooks and can always be counted on to make fantastic ribs, steak, and roasted potatoes. Craig’s extended family is much larger than Christa’s and we see them several times a year for birthdays and holidays. When we get together we like to go boating and fishing.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even before we were married, we knew we wanted to grow our family. We started trying right after we were married and we finally got pregnant almost a year later, which sadly ended in a miscarriage. We were devastated, but the doctor convinced us to try again and after another seven months of fertility treatments we were blessed to be pregnant again. This time we were able to hang on and got our miracle- a beautiful baby girl. Our two kids are incredible blessings, but we know our family isn’t complete. We are so excited at the prospect of growing our family through adoption!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
