dear expectant mother

Thank you for reading our profile and for hopefully considering making our dream of becoming parents come true. We can’t imagine the immense pressure you must feel to make the best decision for you and your child. We’re hopeful there is something in our profile that speaks to you about who we are.

Should you bless us with this amazing gift, we will raise your child in a fun-loving atmosphere and provide the best love always! We have tried having children for the past few years but have hit roadblocks along the way, including multiple miscarriages and surgeries. Please know we are open to any communication with you at whatever level you’re comfortable with. We would love for your child to not only know you but their background as well.

Being given the opportunity to raise your child would be life changing for us. Courtney's mother loved the saying, “Pretty is as pretty does,” and there’s nothing more beautiful than making the impossible decision to give us the chance to raise your child. We have so much love to give, and we are so ready to give it. We have the hope you’ll know you made the right decision as you watch your child grow into the amazing person he or she will become. We are keeping you in our thoughts and hearts.

About Us

We met through mutual friends, and it was love at first sight. Well, that’s what Courtney says! We were married in March 2018, and it was a great wedding. Courtney would describe Jimmy as fun-loving, patient, and unique. He currently works at a local bank in the risk-management department. He has the very desirable banker’s schedule, so weekends are meant for pizza Fridays and enjoying time with friends and family. Jimmy would describe Courtney as ambitious, funny, and radiant. Courtney is a realtor, but she should have been a chef. She loves cooking, reading, and decorating. We love to do things outside as much as possible, like concerts in the park, hiking, tennis, and biking. We recently joined a pool club, so we are looking forward to using the pool this coming summer.

Our Home & Pets

We bought our first house together right before we got married and have slowly been making it ours. It’s a three-bedroom, split-level home with a huge fenced-in yard. Jimmy’s dad is a contractor, so he’s been helping us do all our little projects. We really love our neighborhood because our best friends and their child live here, we’re super close to Jimmy’s parents, and there are a lot of fun things to do. Frankie is our French bulldog who keeps us laughing. He loves to strut around the neighborhood. We recently took him to the beach, and he loved it. It makes us excited for the day our child will be having their first beach day!

Our Extended Family

Jimmy is native to Delaware and has two sisters; one is married. They all live close by, so we see each other very often. Jimmy’s extended family is big! He has eight aunts and uncles and 29 first and second cousins who are all local! Jimmy and his dad are the best of friends, and we spend a lot of time with his parents, typically on pizza Fridays.

Courtney’s originally from Ohio and her family is all over, but her brother lives down the street. Unfortunately, Courtney’s parents are no longer with us. She has two aunts and uncles on her mother’s side who have helped shape who she is today. They are the best bonus parents, so she’s very lucky. Courtney has eight aunts and uncles and 24 first and second cousins who live all over the country, but they remain close. Courtney’s especially close to her grandma, who actually was the one who walked her down the aisle on our wedding day, which made for a very special moment.

We spend every single Thanksgiving in Ohio with Courtney’s side of the family, and we always take the little kids for a fun adventure; last time was ziplining! Christmas is also a big deal at our house. We love to decorate and bake. We have a big Christmas Eve party every year, and it keeps growing with new little ones. Jimmy’s looking forward to a few extra “Santa” cookies.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we would think about our dream future, it always included children, and adoption was always part of that plan. We’ve spent the first three years trying to conceive on our own, and unfortunately, it resulted in recurrent miscarriage. So we decided now was our time to begin our adoption adventure. Courtney’s aunt and uncle are adoptive parents, and their help and guidance has really been a huge support. All of our friends and family are so excited to help us welcome home a child. We always hear people say “it takes a village”, and we know our village is very ready!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
