dear expectant mother
Having the opportunity to adopt is something we have only dreamed about. We have both always wanted to have a family and to raise a child. Both of our families feel the same way. This baby will have so much love from all of our family and friends.
We cannot wait to be able to teach your child all about our large family and the activities and traditions we love to do. Our family is very close, and we love to do things together. This could be yard games like 9 Square in the Air, cornhole, spikeball, or even sitting by a fire or watching sporting events. We are excited to encourage them in any activity they choose to pursue.
The school district your child would be growing up in has so many opportunities: many clubs, sports teams, and AP classes. This school is also very diverse and has over 80 languages spoken among its students. We will give your child so much room to grow and to find what they like to do. With the love of our family and friends, your child will grow up in a warm and inviting environment.
Ben is an electrician and loves everything about what he does on a day-to-day basis. He enjoys the fact that he does not work long hours and has time for our family and time to just relax. Courtney is a young fives teacher at an elementary school. She loves seeing the joy on the kids’ faces when they learn something new or when they have something to share. We met in middle school and were friends for a long time before deciding we were right for each other. It has almost been a year since we were married but five years since we made the choice to be together. We both knew adoption was our only option for growing our family, so this has been our goal ever since starting our lives together. We are excited to be on this journey!
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a three-bedroom ranch with a large fenced-in backyard that our dog loves to run around in. Our neighborhood is full of young, growing families and some middle-aged families. There are three or four parks located near our neighborhood, and Courtney is the manager of a country club pool, which has a large playground as well as a large kids pool. We love getting out and going for walks through the neighborhood with our dog and seeing all our neighbors.
Our Extended Family
Ben has an older sister who lives at home with his parents about fifteen minutes from our house. Courtney has one older sister and a younger sister. Her older sister is married and had a child in July 2019. We love our nephew to death and have tried to be as active in his life as we can be. Both of our families live very close by and can be counted on if we ever need anything.
Getting married meant having to split time between families during holidays. This was tough because you get used to those types of things when you do them for twenty-plus years. We have started new traditions we believe are the best for us as a couple and will be best for the child we will be bringing into our family. One in particular for Ben is that his family gets together every New Year’s Eve and plays a game everyone loves. Courtney’s favorite tradition would have to be the large gathering for Thanksgiving. Extended family from other parts of the state travel in and get together for a great time. We can’t wait to pass some of these things on and to create our own lasting traditions.
What Led Us To Adoption
We know a few families who have adopted in the past and have had nothing but great stories. Ben knew when he asked Courtney to marry him that she could not have biological children. This did not affect his decision in any way because we had heard such great things about adoption from other couples. We have always maintained hope and optimism throughout the search and application process and will continue to do so. We feel we are very lucky to be in a position to be able to do this in our lives and know not all couples in our shoes can do the same.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
