dear expectant mother
First and foremost, we would simply like to say thank you for taking the time to read through our profile. We understand how difficult this decision must be for you, and we are so grateful you are considering us to be parents for your baby. There is no greater treasure in this world than a child and no greater gift than adoption. We admire your willingness to consider adoption. If you choose us as adoptive parents, we will provide your baby with a loving and caring home filled with laughter.
We went into this process with plenty of unknowns about adoption. We wondered what the birthmothers would be like, what they were looking for, and what brought them to this decision. We learned that you are no different from any other parent that has been gifted with a child. You want a loving home for your child where he or she can grow, prosper, and always be loved. We understand this and would love to be that family for your child.
We are so excited to begin this journey, and we appreciate you taking the time to get to know us.
We are a fun-loving and caring couple that loves exploring new places and experiencing new things. We enjoy the thrill of new adventures. We have traveled to places such as Chicago, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Disney World. We met through online dating four years ago, and we married on January 16, 2016, in Las Vegas. We enjoy attending concerts, festivals, sporting events, and eating new cuisine. We love being with our friends and family. Colin has worked in healthcare for the last ten years and enjoys cooking and baking, reading, video gaming, sports, and fitness (including obstacle course racing). Renee has worked in human resources for the last nine years and enjoys doing puzzles, playing softball, and cooking. We thrive on honesty, trust, and love for one another.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is situated in a cul-de-sac in a small town in Illinois. What makes our neighborhood so special is our relationships with our neighbors. We are all friends and, most importantly, we look out for each other. We hold an annual block party, movie nights outside, and even a Christmas neighborhood walk-through. Our neighbors are supporting us in our adoption journey. We have a cat named Paws who thinks he is actually a dog. Paws will greet us at the door and come when he is called. Paws will do anything for affection! From our local businesses to our schools and our sports teams, everyone seems to encourage each other.
Our Extended Family
Our families are our most treasured possessions. Our parents both live within a fifteen-minute drive from our home. We love the feeling of closeness with each of them. Colin has two brothers, a sister, and two nieces who live close by. We are able to see them regularly. Renee has a sister that lives a few hours away and we visit her when we can. Renee’s other sister lives in the Philippines with her family. Although we are many miles away, we are able to keep in touch through Skype, letters, and care packages. We both have many cousins, aunts, and uncles, and we are close to all of them.
For our honeymoon, we went to Disney World with Renee’s entire immediate family. It is still to this day the best trip we have ever had. Colin’s family holds multiple gatherings throughout the year, including on the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, fall gatherings, and Christmas Eve.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our journey to adoption has been a difficult but enlightening one. After our marriage, we began immediately trying to have a child together. However, after three consecutive miscarriages, we realized adoption was our true calling. Raising a child together from the beginning is something we have wanted ever since we met. Renee has a twelve-year-old daughter named Liberty. Unfortunately, her father has never been in the picture. Colin has embraced her as his own. We are now very excited to add to our family through adoption, and Liberty is ready to be a big sister!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
