dear expectant mother

We are incredibly moved by your strength to consider placing a child through the adoption process. For a while now, it has been a dream of ours to welcome a child into our family through adoption. Our four-year-old daughter tells us everyday how eager she is to get a younger sibling to help care for and play with, and we feel adopting a child that is in need of a loving home would complete our family. We love teaching our daughter about healthy living, staying active, diversity, being independent, and helping others, and we look forward to sharing those same lessons with our next child.

Clayton owns his own business, which gives him flexibility to take as much time off as needed to bond with our new baby, and Courtney has a job with great benefits and flexibility that will allow her to spend quality time with a new addition as well. There is nothing in the world we would love more than to be selected as parents, and if we are fortunate enough to be chosen by you and blessed with your child, we are ready to love him or her, unconditionally, for the rest of our lives.

About Us

Courtney is a project manager for a large quasi-government financial institution, and Clayton is the owner of his own marketing agency. We were college sweethearts who have now been married for nine years. We have a passion for health, happiness, and travel. Whether it’s healthy food prepping on Sundays, or biking the trails around our house, we try to do everything together, and we always strive to involve our daughter, Cali. We take her with us everywhere: out to lunch to try new foods, to community events and church volunteer work, and she has even been to a few of Daddy’s business meetings. She’s quite the saleswoman! Our goal is to travel as a family to a different place every year to expand our knowledge and experiences. We believe these lessons will make her a more open-minded and understanding young woman.

Our Home & Pets

Our hometown is very family-friendly, with award-winning museums, theaters, sports teams, parks, and trails. Our home is in a cul-de-sac near a park and aquatic center, plus it is next to a popular family attraction with horses, elephants, and more unique animals. The school district is also one of the top in the state! The house is ranch-style, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms and a finished basement, which has a large play area with toys and a trampoline room. The backyard has a deck, patio, large grass play area, and apple trees. We have a friendly dog named Dakota, who is our daughter’s best friend. They play games and she feeds him breakfast in the morning.

Our Extended Family

Clayton has two sisters and a brother, a nephew and a niece we see frequently, and his mother lives only two miles away. Growing up, Clayton’s family would visit their grandparents in Florida every Christmas. All of the siblings had successful youth tennis careers and would travel together around the midwest for tournaments, cheering each other on. The family recently attended the US Open in New York City together. Clayton is also fortunate to have two grandmothers doing well, so Cali is able to spend time with her great-grandmothers.

Courtney has a sister who lives about forty minutes away, near their parents. Courtney and her sister talk on the phone daily. At least once a month, Cali has a sleepover with her grandparents, and her little cousin joins in the fun. Cali and her cousin love playing with all of the toys at their grandparents’ house and going to the playground. Courtney’s parents enjoy taking family beach vacations, and many of Courtney’s aunts, uncles, and cousins live nearby and get together for all holidays and events. When Courtney told her mother about the adoption, she cried happy tears because she knows how special adoption has been to our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

Courtney's experience as an adopted child from Korea has been such a positive part of her life. It’s taught her that families are brought together in different ways, and the love and bond that is built together is more important than anything. Her family has shared her adoption story with her, and now she wants to create a similar memory and bond with an adopted child of her own. Also, Clayton's extensive service work teaching tennis to youth in foster homes through a non-profit organizations has created a strong calling to become adoptive parents in him, as well.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
