dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
How do we begin except to say thank you? Thank you for considering adoption. We would love nothing more in this world than to give your baby a life full of love and grace, a great Christian education, three amazing siblings, and every possible opportunity that comes along throughout their life. We will give the world to them!
If you choose us, we promise to love your child with our whole hearts and souls and to provide the most loving home possible. We hope you find our pictures and our written words as a heartwarming snapshot of the life your baby would live as a member of our family. Our process of infertility the last few years has led us to adoption and, we hope, to you! We hope and pray you choose us to raise your sweet baby.
Christy’s favorite book to read to the boys has always been Love You Forever, and they repeat throughout the story, “I’ll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.” We understand this will always be your baby and you will always have the most special place in your heart for him or her. And we will always have the most special place in our hearts for you: for choosing us and giving us the honor of raising this sweet, precious baby you so lovingly took care of in your tummy for the past nine months.
Respectfully and sincerely,
Mike and Christy
We are truly blessed we found each other and get to spend our lives as best friends and teammates. We both understand the value of family and the dedication it takes to raise children. Christy is a stay-at-home mommy, which allows her to be very active in the kids’ school and daily activities. Although she graduated with her MBA, her dream job was always to be a mom! When she has free time, she enjoys volunteering at the NICU at the children’s hospital, spending time with friends, or helping watch nieces and nephews during the day. Mike is focused on being a great dad and providing for our family through his role as the vice president of a company in the oil and gas industry. What he loves most is helping with homework, coaching or watching the kids’ sporting events, and playing various sports and games with the boys.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, two-story home with a large fenced-in yard. The backyard has a creek that runs through it, and the kids LOVE playing in it. We have a finished basement the kids use as their playroom; it’s filled with toys and a large sofa for movie nights. Our neighborhood and community are filled with families, great schools, parks, and a historic downtown filled with shops, restaurants, and a train station. Some of our favorite things are to walk downtown and get an ice cream cone or sno cone as well as shop at the outdoor farmers market. We have two Labrador retrievers. Pumpkin is 13, and Blue is just over one year old. Santa brought Blue in 2019.
Our Extended Family
We both had great childhoods growing up with large families led by tremendous parents and grandparents. Christy is the oldest of seven children, the only girl with six younger brothers! Mike is the middle child, growing up with an older brother and a younger sister. On top of all of this, we have a total of 22 aunts and uncles with dozens of cousins. Our family events tend to be very large, and we have numerous fun traditions. These include multiple yearly family trips, fun get-togethers with friends and family on holidays, and delicious family recipes.
Our families and friends are thrilled beyond words that we are adopting. When we told all of the grandparents they were ecstatic and all started crying tears of joy. Each one of them cannot wait to love, snuggle and spoil another grandbaby. This baby would be grandbaby #12 on Christy’s side and #11 on Mike’s side. There is so much love to go around with a big family and we cannot wait to add another member to ours! Additionally, our closest two friends are expecting in 2021. We’re all excited about this because it means everyone will have new best friends for the future!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always dreamed of a large family. God blessed us with three boys, but we still wanted to chase our dream of an even larger family. After years of trying without success, Christy’s doctor informed us it was going to be unlikely for us to have another baby. We have so much love to give, and our boys have always wanted and asked for another sibling. The path of adoption was obvious for us! It was a way to add to our family, and we have seen firsthand the amazing and beautiful way adoption can work. We have numerous family members who were brought into our extended families through adoption, so we knew this was right for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
