dear expectant mother
There are few words that can describe the excitement we have for the opportunity to cherish your baby forever. Our hearts are overwhelmed with the joy it will bring to fulfill our dreams of a family with a precious child. Since before we were married in 2017, we always envisioned becoming parents. The road to get to this point has been challenged by infertility, but we feel in our souls that God intended for our paths to join together in this way.
Our family is foremost based on love, communication, and the comfort of being together. We cherish time with family and friends no matter what we decide to do. We enjoy simple movie nights on the couch with our furry friends, cooking up new recipes in the kitchen, or family game night. We enjoy traveling, camping adventures in the mountains, ocean getaways, and the pleasures of being outside.
Both of us have high but realistic expectations of ourselves as parents. With each of us having career backgrounds working with children, we know and understand the complexities that can arise with infants, children, and adolescents. Both of us were raised on kindness, discipline of heart and mind, and dedication to serve others. Our goal as parents is to raise a passionate and purpose-driven individual.
We feel blessed by your interest in viewing our profile. We can only hope you feel a similar way, and we look forward to serving as parents to your sweet angel.
About Us
Charley is an elementary school teacher. He’s very dedicated to his classroom and his fellow teachers. During his time off, he loves activities with the dog and plays league tennis. Charley also has a rich background in martial arts, having over 20 years of practicing and teaching experience. Charley will always try to make you laugh, and he is an excellent listener. Christina is a pediatric oncology registered nurse in a hospital. She also has experience working with babies in the NICU and ICU. During her time off, she enjoys time with her mother, sister, and friends as well as going hiking and fishing. She also enjoys cooking, painting, and flower gardening. Christina is always listening to music no matter what she’s doing. Christina has a caring and selfless nature. She is quiet and reflective and takes the time to talk things out.
Our Home & Pets
We moved to Tennessee around Christmastime in 2020. Our dream was to have acreage in the country, and we are thankful to have found that here. We have met many wonderful families through our workplaces and enjoy the small town community and volunteer spirit of Tennessee. Our neighborhood is full of farm houses on rolling green hills. Some of our neighbors have cows and horses. Halloween is always a fun time with all the kids that come through the neighborhood. We live next to a great set of schools less than five minutes down the road. We have three cats, named Sam, June, and Gabby, and one hound dog named Ellie. Our pets are sweet, lovable, and friendly.
Our Extended Family
Charley’s immediate family includes his mother, stepfather, and younger brother. His stepfather came into his life when he was six years old and raised him as his own; he considers him to be his father. He has many cousins on his mother’s side. Charley and his family enjoy camping, big Italian family meals, and playing card and board games together. Every holiday is a big gathering of all the family coming together.
Christina has her mother, father, and younger sister, whom she’s very close with. Both Christina and her sister are pediatric nurses, which is something they bond over. She shares close and unique relationships with her parents. Christina has a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides, many of whom get together every few years. Christina and her family enjoy engaging conversation on varied topics and many different outdoor activities as well as card games.
Something that both sets of families enjoy is a good round of competitive mini-golf!
What Led Us To Adoption
In 2018 we decided we were ready to start a family. This led to a years-long discovery and acceptance of not being able to have biological children. This prompted many positive and exciting conversations on adopting. Over the years, many of our friends and coworkers have shared their adoption stories, and this inspired us to walk this journey, hopefully with you. We have a whole community of family and close friends supporting us along the way. We are ready to create an everlasting bond with the baby we are blessed to love and raise.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
