dear expectant mother
It’s hard to imagine the thoughts and feelings you must be having. And honestly, we don’t know exactly what to say to the person who could be changing our lives forever and for the better. We will start by saying we thank you for even taking the time to read our profile and considering us to adopt your child.
If you choose us, we want you to know your child will be raised in a home filled with love and support. They will grow up with two parents who love each other, who are ready to love your child unconditionally, and who are ready to be their lifelong advocates. We are ready to raise a socially minded, empathetic, empowered, loving, and kind child. We look forward to exploring your child’s interests—dancing, singing, playing, cooking, doing puzzles, and anything else they can think of to learn and grow with them. We hope they can learn from us to appreciate the little things in life and to not take themselves too seriously. They will never have to question where we stand or if we will be there for them.
We are sending you love and light during this time and hope to meet you soon.
Chrissy grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, and Mike grew up in Cleveland. We met online four years ago and have been together and making memories ever since! Mike is a director of finance for a luxury hotel company and a super laid-back guy. He loves the Cleveland Browns and wrestling and is a pizza roll aficionado. He is supporting and loving and has the biggest heart. Chrissy owns her own pet grooming business and is genuine, kind, and funny! She loves spending time at home with her fur-kids, reading, and hiking. Chrissy runs her business out of the house, and Mike works only five minutes away. We love to travel and find neat AirBnBs to stay at. Together we also love trying new restaurants, cooking at home, and spending time with friends and family.
Our Home & Pets
Our four-bedroom home is located in a rural town in Pennsylvania. Our house is happily filled with our two dogs Lilly and Lou and our cat Rigatoni. We are the last house on a dead end in a quiet and desirable neighborhood. We have a good school district, and the middle and high school are just a five-minute walk away. We have a beautiful covered front porch and a large fenced-in backyard ready for a playset and a game of tag!
Our Extended Family
We are extremely lucky to not only have a close relationship with our genetic family but to also have a large chosen family as well. Mike’s family lives in Ohio, while Chrissy’s family lives in Pennsylvania a little over an hour away from us. Our parents are very excited to become grandparents, but Chrissy’s grandma is the most excited since she’ll be a great-grandma! Plus, all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are very excited as well.
Our chosen family consists mostly of Chrissy’s childhood best friend and her family, Chrissy’s old roommate, and a mix of other childhood friends and friends we’ve made together along the way. There are plenty of built-in friends for your child and lots of traditions already in place!
The Thanksgiving meal is cooked at our house, we make Christmas cookies with friends, and Christmas with the family has a new Secret Santa tradition. We enjoy summer trips with friends and family to our cabin and going swimming in the
What Led Us To Adoption
We knew Chrissy could not carry a pregnancy due to her having a heart transplant. We explored other options, but adoption was just what spoke to us the most. Our child being biologically ours just wasn’t the most important thing. Family of ours has had the pleasure of adopting, so we’ve seen firsthand how great it can be. Our philosophy is family isn’t whose blood you carry but whom you love and who loves you back. We have so much love to give and will be so grateful to the mother who chooses us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
