dear expectant mother
You are already an excellent mommy. The time, thought, and research you are putting into this decision, worrying about your child’s needs and future, makes you the best mommy a child could ask for. A million thank yous for loving so much that you consider selecting us to welcome your child into our family and raise them with all the love and care we can provide.
As husband and wife, and as best friends, we enjoy traveling, spending time with family, chatting while cooking and hanging out in the kitchen, movies and sports, fitness, joking around, and supporting each other’s careers. We love reading and can’t wait to cuddle and read bedtime stories with your child. We will honor being parents, providing unconditional love, sharing our many passions, and creating new memories. We are prepared to do whatever it takes to provide as many opportunities as possible for your child to explore all their own unique dreams and interests.
We realize deciding on adoption is one of the greatest challenges you may ever face. Please know we will provide a fun, loving, nurturing family. Parenting comes with numerous responsibilities, but we believe our love, strength, and determination to be supportive and loving parents prepares us to be strong for whatever comes our way. If you so choose, we would be honored to be part of this journey with you.
We are strong believers in the importance of family; your spouse being your life partner, support, and best friend; and living a healthy, fun, and love-filled life. Many people share a sigh of dreaminess when they hear how we met: Tyra happily stepped onto an airplane, excited for a visit with family, and Chris put in his earphones and settled into his seat, thinking about his fun planned visit with friends. As Tyra approached the row, their eyes met and, as cliché as it sounds, it was love at first sight! Chris is supportive, strong, friendly, and determined. As a Manager of Radiation Oncology, he provides leadership and quality, trust-filled cancer treatment experiences to patients and families. Tyra is outgoing, funny, supportive, dedicated, and upbeat. As an executive-level staff development professional, she creates training and learning experiences, and she leads and inspires greatness helping others become their best self.
Our Home & Pets
Our five-bedroom home is filled with family photos, smells of home-cooked meals, a game room for family fun, a movie room for popcorn and snuggles, and a large yard for a swing set, cartwheels, or tossing a ball. Parks, playgrounds, picnics, festivals, charity events, and many more activities bring neighbors in our family community together, and our school district is accredited with strong academic and athletic performance. At home, we love spending time with our dog, Axel. He gets excited for walks through the neighborhood, road trips to see family, hanging out in the movie room with us, and enjoying the sun in the backyard. Even though he is ten years old, he loves that we still call him a puppy! He is a healthy, loving part of our family.
Our Extended Family
Our families have provided such amazing support during our infertility journey. Between the two of us, our immediate family includes our parents, three sisters, three brother-in-laws, three nieces, and two nephews, and Axel has three doggie cousins. The thought of welcoming a child into our family through adoption is well-received, and there is no doubt your child will be celebrated and loved by our entire family.
Spending time playing games, watching professional sports, swimming, laughing, cooking, and creating memories with family during vacations on the beach or in a cabin, long weekends at each other’s houses, school breaks, birthdays and holidays are extremely important to our families.
We laugh as Paw Paw tries to round everyone up, including the doggie cousins, for family pictures. We giggle as Nana can’t decide where she wants the picture taken. As a family, we all cheer and support our nieces and nephews as they play baseball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, dance, sing, play an instrument, or achieve an academic accomplishment. As a family, we are also there to pick each other up, wipe away tears, put on a band-aid, and support one another when challenges come our way. We look forward to sharing these lifetime moments as a mommy and daddy.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is heartfelt miracle, a sense of possibility and hope in providing a mother peace of mind knowing their baby will be loved and cared for. It also provides loving couples an opportunity to raise and provide a loving family to a child. There has never been any doubt that we wanted a family. We began our infertility journey approximately four years ago, and, unfortunately, the ability to conceive a child is not in the cards for us. We have experienced multiple miscarriages as well as multiple IVF failed attempts. The emotional and physical challenges have been painful; however, the two constants through this journey have been the love we have for each other and the commitment to do whatever we can to start our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
