dear expectant mother

How grateful we are that you are considering us to cherish and raise your child goes beyond words. We want the very best for your child, and we are able to give him or her a loving home where we can protect and provide for them. We will help them live a great and prosperous life. We will instill character, respect, and an ever-curious mind. We will explore the forest and be appreciative of all living creatures. We want to share with them a great understanding of the world and all there is to know and learn.

We look forward to including him or her on everything we do and to creating new traditions while also sharing our current traditions with your child. Myoung is so excited to be a stay-at-home mom. She’ll play with and teach your child. Someday she’ll walk your child to school, and she’ll be there anxiously waiting to pick him or her up. Day care will never be needed as being a mom is her dream, as being a dad is Chris’s. We will shower him or her with a great abundance of unconditional love.

About Us

We met in South Korea when Chris was in the Army. Myoung was born and raised there. After meeting in 2008, we married in December of 2009. After Chris retired from active duty in 2016, he began teaching incoming soldiers, sailors, and Air Force personnel how to become EMTs. Myoung is active with the local Korean Catholic Church, and once a month ,she will work a weekend seeing to the cooking and upkeep at the Korean Catholic community kitchen here. On occasion, she teaches elementary students how to speak and read the Korean language. Together we love traveling and learning about new cultures and ways of life all over the world; we look forward to sharing these experiences with a child. We enjoy going for walks, playing with our loving dog, and working in our beautiful yard.

Our Home & Pets

Myoung found our playful pup at a local dog rescue, and one of our daily activities is playing fetch in the backyard. Another one of our daily routines is watching movies in our movie room, and we always eat together and talk about our daily activities. We live near a state-ranked elementary and high school as well as a neighborhood pool and park. Our home is nestled in a cozy, family-friendly neighborhood that speaks to the diversity of our community. Our home has diversity in its style as well. We are excited to hear laughter and the pitter-patter of little feet going up and down the stairs and into their own bedroom, where they will find adventure in learning and living.

Our Extended Family

In our combined families, we have double the holidays, especially Thanksgiving. In Korea, we celebrate Chuseok, which is their version of Thanksgiving; it is really a celebration of family, and we are excited about keeping this tradition alive. We can’t wait to create Christmas traditions with a child as we first decorate the tree then open packages and share with grandparents the joy of a child during the holiday season.

We cannot wait to dress up and share in our community celebration of trick or treating. Every year we give out several pounds of candy, and we love to share in the laughter as we admire all the splendid costumes.

What Led Us To Adoption

We’ve always wanted children. We’ve tried a great variety of methods to get pregnant, but they were unsuccessful. This hasn’t stopped our dream of becoming parents; it only made the desire stronger. Chris’s brother and his wife adopted as well as many of our friends and colleagues, so the miracle of adoption has never been new to us. We researched adoption agencies for a few years and found Angel Adoption. We are so excited to begin our adoption journey and grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
