We are Meghan and Chris. We are so excited that you are looking at our profile! Our family is extremely excited and supportive as we go through the adoption process. We are very close to our family and friends and we enjoy spending time with them. When we all get together, we love to invent silly games, bake cookies, play with our dogs, and go camping. If you choose us as adoptive parents, we can’t wait to share our friends, family, dogs, and silly games with your child.
While we can’t imagine what you are going through, we know that you are a very caring and strong person to consider adoption. We want you to know we are here with open hearts, minds, and ears to listen. Thank you for taking time to look through our profile. No matter what your decision is, our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this journey.
We met when we were freshmen in college and quickly became friends while spending time playing family feud, studying and going to see movies. Our first date was a trip to the zoo in December to see the Christmas lights and animals. Our trips to the zoo quickly became a yearly tradition and 4 years later Chris proposed to Meghan where they shared their first kiss.
Meghan is a speech therapist and Chris is a financial analyst. We enjoy cooking together, going to the movies, traveling, exploring local spots, playing with our dogs, and hanging out with our friends. We cannot wait to share new adventures and all our love with a child.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home with a fenced-in backyard in Chicago. Our neighborhood has a wonderful mix of new families and old families who all love to be outside and play. Our neighborhood is located in one of the best school districts in the nation. A block away from our house is a wonderful park with a new jungle gym, swings, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. We can’t wait to take our growing family there to play. We have two dogs. Joey is six-years-old and Olivia is two-years-old. They are both named after TV characters. They love being outside, visiting our parents’ houses to play, and playing with our friends’ children.
Our Extended Family
Chris is an only child. His parents, live about 35 minutes from our house. We see them often, as our dogs are truly their grandchildren at the moment. They are so excited for us to begin the adoption process. They have already started pulling out Chris’s baby blankets, books, and toys for our new potential child to enjoy.
Meghan is the oldest of three siblings. She has two younger brothers, a sister-in-law and her parents, they live about 15 minutes away. Both Meghan and her brother were adopted at birth and had closed adoptions, but they always knew they were adopted. Meghan’s parents are very excited for us to begin this journey as they remember how special and exciting it was to bring her and her brother home. Meghan also got the opportunity to meet her birth mom and half-sister about six years ago, for which she is very grateful. She got the opportunity that many others who have had a closed adoption do not receive.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption is close to our hearts since Meghan, her brother, and two cousins are adopted. We always felt a special calling to adoption. We feel like adoption will be a wonderful bond that Meghan and our child will be able to share. Meghan’s mentor adopted a child four years ago. We love watching videos and seeing pictures of her grow.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
