dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you with all of our hearts for choosing life for your child and for even considering our goofy family to welcome and love your child. The courage it must take to consider adoption is inspirational to us! Please know we are praying for you and your baby. We pray for God’s peace in your heart and clarity in your mind during this difficult time. We try to raise brave children, and your baby already has this example of courage as the first gift from you!
A little about us: We have been madly in love for over ten years, but Chris would say 25. (He’s had a crush on Mary since high school!) We have four young children already, so your baby will grow up with the love and affection that only brothers and sisters can give. Our house is cheerful and bright because we are strengthened by the grace of God to build a life of faith, fulfillment, and fun for our children. We would love to welcome another big smile into our home to share hugs, toys, and boogers. We are building a brave, capable, and kind family. We promise your child will have a wonderful, love-filled and joyous life of fulfillment and purpose if you choose us. Your child will be loved immensely and will know your great love and courage in making this decision.
Thank you for reading this letter. May God’s grace and blessings shine down on you.
About Us
We are a large, loud, and lively family of six. Our house is always exciting and full of friends and family. Jumpy houses are our favorite! When the weather is nice, we go on night walks or bike rides as a family. We do everything together and love cuddling, laughing, and singing our favorite songs loudly. Our kids are great climbers, diggers, and all-around troublemakers ;). Mary Therese was a kindergarten teacher, so she loves reading books. She is very involved in our children’s school: setting up events, coaching soccer, and always volunteering on field trips. She teaches the kids to wave and smile to say hi to our neighbors! Chris owns his own business down the street, so he is always home early. He is the kind of dad who plays and tumbles with the kids and teaches them to ride bikes. Chris loves outdoor vacations and seeking out the next adventure.
Our Home & Pets
We live in one of the most wonderful and sought-after suburbs in our area. Our neighborhood is beautiful, with enormous trees and a close-knit, safe community. There are three ice cream parlors within a short walk. Our dog, Penny, is the cuddliest Lab in the world. Although Penny is only three, she takes care of our youngest two children, and they try to ride on her back. Penny is a great nap buddy too! Our church has a great community, and we are lucky to be a part of it. Both MT and Chris are active parishioners, and we have our pastor over for dinner often. We send our children to a nearby Catholic school, which we are also involved in.
Our Extended Family
Mary Therese grew up in a family of eight children and never thought she would marry someone from a bigger family. Then she met Chris, who is the oldest of ten children! When you come from an Irish or Mexican family, you’re usually used to many kids (and know how to throw a great party!).
We both loved coming from large families, and we hope to continue our traditions with our own family. On Mary Therese’s side, there are 29 cousins, with number 30 on the way! On Chris’s side, there are eight cousins with one on the way! We do everything with our extended family and are very close. Our kids go to the same school as their cousins, and we carpool together.
Two of our siblings live in AZ, and we visit them often. Almost everyone else lives a short drive away, and we spend holidays and weekends together. We go on family vacations all the time; the most recent one was in Utah to ski. This summer we are going to a family reunion vacation by a lake! Our family helps each other. We care and listen, we share, and we love. We pray together, and we protect each other.
What Led Us To Adoption
We love children and love having a large, messy family that will change the world for the better! Our dream as a couple was always to have a large family, and we always planned to adopt. After our last pregnancy, it became clear to us that getting pregnant again was no longer possible for us, and we took that as a sign from God that it was now time to start the adoption process! We are close to many families who have adopted and have witnessed the special love and joy that comes from adoption. These families and individuals are an inspiration to us, and we are proud and hopeful to be finally involved in this wonderful journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
