dear expectant mother
To a Loving Mother:
Thank you for considering our family. We recognize the hope and devotion you carry for your baby and would be honored to meet you. While we may never fully understand your journey, know that we stand in your corner. Know that if you choose us, you will forever be appreciated and held in our hearts. We can’t promise the world, but we can promise that the care and love you have for your baby will be reflected in our home every day.
Our hope is to raise a happy child with a life full of opportunities. We’ll provide a safe, loving home and loads of encouragement to make that possible. We will be open about adoption, honoring you and your roots. Your baby will be loved for who they are and whoever they wish to be.
We’re really looking forward to bonding, making homemade organic baby food, going to the zoo as a family, and doing kid-friendly science experiments like making elephant toothpaste. Our home will be filled with laughter and love, silliness and wiggles, stories, songs, learning, and plenty of cuddles.
Thank you again for viewing our profile and for hopefully opening your heart to us. You would bring us so much joy!
Chris and Lauren
We have been a couple for nine years and got married in 2019. Choosing one another was effortless. We’ve been best friends from day one! With both of us working from home, we have lots of opportunities to grow together. Chris plays guitar, and Lauren writes stories. We both love books, coffee, podcasts, anime, Latin dancing, video and board games, and scream-singing in the car. Every week, our friends come over to play Dungeons and Dragons. And when we’re not being homebodies, we travel! Experiencing new cultures, traditions, and cuisines makes us feel close to other people, and we think that’s really important. We value exploring our interests, showing compassion, and nurturing what makes us unique. That mix of kindness, silliness, and love is the cornerstone of who we are.
Our Home & Pets
We purchased Chris’s family home and made it our sanctuary. It’s a four-bedroom suburban house in a great school district and a diverse, kid-friendly neighborhood. The kitchen is always alive with food and conversation. The family room is the coziest place on Earth. There are fantastic parks, zoos, and museums nearby, and we’re excited to renew our memberships with family in mind!
Pets are a huge part of what makes our house a home. Two kitties live with us now. Rosa has a purr loud enough to rattle the walls. Wesley is our sweet baby boy, raised to give kisses and play like a puppy by his big sister, our precious dog, Lucy.
Our Extended Family
We are both incredibly close with our families. Lauren is an only child and is grateful to have her parents nearby. Living 30 minutes away means we visit often—usually for very large, very delicious dinners. We are able to easily spend holidays and birthdays together. They also love being able to extend a helping hand or to just stop by to smother our pets with love.
Chris’s parents recently converted the New England cottage his family visits each summer into their dream home. Now we keep up the tradition with a yearly visit filled with seaside hikes, fishing trips, and lots of laughter and love. His brother lives in town, and they meet weekly for a friendly poker game. Two honorary brothers, exchange students from Chile and Italy, still play a role in his life. Chris’s family is very open-minded, worldly (his mother speaks fluent Spanish!), and adventurous, and we can’t wait to share those passions and experiences with your baby.
We also have a fantastic friend group living nearby, many with little ones of their own. We’re so excited to continue to grow, laugh, and parent as friends!
What Led Us To Adoption
From early on in our relationship, we knew we wanted to start a family together. We just needed a little help. Adoption came to mind right away, and we pursued fertility treatments as well. Two years of trying feels like a long road, but we could not be more proud of our journey. It brought us closer, and it brought us here! Now we’re so excited to grow our family, and we’re already hoping to adopt a second child down the road.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
