dear expectant mother

Thank you for reading our profile and getting to know us a bit! We are honored you would consider us as the adoptive parents of your child. We understand the choice of adoption is not easy, and we have the utmost respect for the bravery and love required to make this decision.

This is a big decision for us too, but just as you are taking the route best for you at this time, we know we are so ready to enter into this stage of our lives. You can trust that we are willing to provide for your baby in every way you may hope for. We promise to bring your baby into a home full of love, family, and happiness. We are thrilled at the opportunity to raise your baby with all the love we have.

What we appreciate the most is that you would be helping us create a family in a way we cannot on our own, and that fact will never be lost on us. We will forever be grateful for the gift you’d be giving us, and we hope this assurance can make your decision a little easier and a little more comfortable.

About Us

We are Chris and Eric! Chris is a respiratory therapist, and Eric is a high school French teacher. We started dating in the spring of 2014 and have been inseparable since. Eric’s kind nature, patience, and intelligence are a perfect match with Chris’s goofy antics, creativity, and passion. In August of 2019 we were married surrounded by the love and support of our friends and family. We love watching endless movie marathons, traveling on new adventures, and taking on home improvement projects together.

Our Home & Pets

We’ve had our house in Indiana for ten years. We love animals, so our house is also home to our two dogs, Ripley and Murphy, and our two cats, Lex and Ruffles. We’ve enjoyed making improvements to our home over the years, especially to our yard, where we’ve built a deck, a shed, and several garden beds since we love growing flowers and vegetables. Our neighborhood is diverse and welcoming, which is perfect for walking the dogs or going for a run. We live in the middle of several active communities, which makes it easy for us to go see a live show, enjoy a water park, or attend any number of local festivals throughout the year.

Our Extended Family

We both come from rather large extended families, and family remains an important part of our lives when it comes to tradition, celebration, and support.

Chris has a brother and a sister who are very close to us as well as numerous cousins around our age with whom we spend a lot of time. His sister and her husband also have a daughter, who is the first and only grandchild so far. His mother’s siblings all live in the area, so the extended family on that side is always able to get together for holidays and other events. For Eric, Chris’s siblings and cousins have become like his own.

Eric’s parents live near us as well, and he has a sister and niece who live a few hours away. The extended family on this side is more spread out so larger get-togethers are less common, but as an immediate family, we are very close. We make plans for every holiday and love to go out to dinner, play games at home, and watch movies together.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of expanding our little family beyond the two of us (and our pets), and we decided adoption would be the option with the most positive impact on everyone involved. We love the idea of providing a stable and loving family life to a child, even if we can’t bring that child into the world ourselves. We have a few friends and family members who have successfully adopted children into their families, and we know this will be the best experience.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
