Dear Birthmom

Two cats are currently cuddled up with us as we try to come up with the best words to introduce ourselves to you. Chris, always the smart-alec, won't stop giggling at a joke he just made, so Brian pokes his side and a tickling match begins! No matter how wonderful or difficult life gets for us, we always push, work hard, keep one another supported and love each other silly. This is our family; this is love.

We want to approach you with the same feeling. You are making such a big decision to give the most intimate gift a woman can give. It's not just the gift of a child, it's also the many lifestyle changes that come along with pregnancy. We are humbled and in awe of the courage it takes to make these decisions and see them through. You are so brave for making this decision for you and your child. You will also be our family...and this is love as well.

All said, whether or not we become your baby's adoptive parents, we want you to know that you are loved, supported and appreciated. You can carry in your heart that two guys will always want to give you a hug to make sure you feel that love. When called upon, we want to wrap our loved ones in warmth and comfort and do anything to make them laugh and feel happy (we hear our goofiness is pretty hilarious!). We also remind our loved ones to trust that everything will be OK and it will all work out. We promise!

For now, we are trying to stay busy while we wait. But we know a child will be worth every second of our patience and we will do everything to make this journey an amazing and joyous time! Remember, love and strength are always with you.

About Us

On our first date, we ordered a pizza, went to pick it up and ended up chatting so much we got lost and forgot all about dinner. Love was instant and we've held onto it for 10 amazing years! Christopher was in the US Navy and is now a Supervisor within the Department of Defense. Brian worked through design school as a Children's Photographer and now oversees Client Management and Creative for a local custom metal shop. After work, Chris likes home improvement projects, antique malls, and auctions while Brian focuses on his photography business and finding time with Chris for a cuddle and movie. We have other cutsie moments like giving three kisses every time we say goodbye, ending disagreements by making each other laugh, coming up with CRAZY AMAZING roadtrips and having weekly water fights. We are at our best working under pressure to do the right thing and seeing it through. Like any other married couple, we respect our differences and support our life together.

Our Home & Pets

We live on a quiet street in a two-story, four-bedroom home. Most of the year we're out in the yard tending to our flowers, trees and garden; visiting with our neighbors; and enjoying some privacy in our fenced-in backyard. Inside, we've decorated with photos and keepsakes that tell each story of our lives. Holidays are extra special. Even made-up ones we use as excuses to decorate, celebrate and exchange gifts. You'll also be greeted by our three ultra-adorable, spoiled-rotten kitties (and of course they get gifts too). We are also down the block from a gorgeous 761-acre park. We want the best for our family, home and community and work hard to help each thrive.

Our Extended Family

We truly feel blessed with the love and support from our families and friends. They have truly helped to shape our lives and we never take that for granted. Our parents, siblings, nieces and nephews never shy away from coming together for family bonding. We do holidays and events in celebratory fashion (like Christmas Eve at Christopher's mom's) but can also turn a boring Tuesday into an event of its own (like lunch with Brian, his dad and niece). Our families are a testament to strength and helping others, always giving without expecting anything in return. We are fortunate to live near our families and never hesitate to make the drive.

What Led Us To Adoption

Our lives are about sharing love, learning and creating memories. We are grateful for everything we have, but the opportunity to become parents will put our natural instincts to good use. We are both confident that our life experiences, like helping to raise our nieces and nephews, have prepared us to be amazing parents. We know it's a lot of work raising a child but it's a challenge we have fought hard to make happen and we can't wait for this next chapter in our lives!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
