dear expectant mother
We haven’t met you yet, but we are so very proud of you and humbled by your courage. We can only imagine how difficult this has been for you, but we hope getting to know us brings you comfort in knowing you are making a positive decision for your baby and yourself. We feel very fortunate to have our son, Cooper, by birth, but life has dealt us our own difficulties that will not allow us to grow our family again on our own. For that, we hope you can you see your baby making a home with us. The love we have to give is boundless, and we dream every night of having another baby to share that love with.
We are blessed to be surrounded by large families that live close by and are all overjoyed at the possibility of welcoming another beautiful life into their arms. Your baby will have a lifetime of smiles and laughter at large family gatherings, where we find a reason to celebrate absolutely every achievement. They will be loved unconditionally and surrounded by a support system of siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends that we consider family. We sincerely hope to have the chance to know you and hope you find us worthy to love your baby with all of our hearts.
George is an architect, and Chelsey is an editor at a textbook company. We met in college when George moved in next door to Chelsey. It was love at first sight, and we’ve been happily together ever since. George is an incredibly kind and passionate husband and father who loves goofing around and being a dad more than anything else. Chelsey is smart, funny, and caring and has so much love to give to every person in her life. We love spending as much time as possible as a family with our son, Cooper, and our two dogs, Oscar and Sullivan. Our parents both live in the same town in coastal Carolina, and we see them weekly. We fill our time playing soccer, going to the beach, being out on the boat, and being with friends and family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in coastal South Carolina in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of the state’s best public schools. Our home is a three-bedroom ranch with a large backyard that we enjoy year round. Our dogs, Oscar and Sullivan, love to play outside with us. We cannot wait to be able to share the local parks and beaches with your baby. George plays guitar and sings to Chelsey and Cooper every day. We love to listen to music and dance.
Our Extended Family
George grew up in the neighborhood we live in now, and his parents live down the street. He has two siblings who live in Virginia. Most of his extended family also live in South Carolina. Chelsey’s parents recently moved from Virginia to a neighborhood close to ours. Chelsey has one sister who lives in California, but the rest of her very large family is in Virginia. We spend a lot of time with our parents, and they are thrilled at the possibility of having more grandchildren.
When we don’t spend holidays in South Carolina with George’s extended family, we are visiting Chelsey’s extended family in Virginia. It is not uncommon to have a house full of 30 cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and siblings for our family get-togethers. We both have cousins with lots of children, and it is important to us that all the kids grow up knowing each other and making memories together.
We’ve shared our hopes of adoption with our families, and they cannot wait to meet your baby and welcome him or her into the family!
What Led Us To Adoption
Chelsey had health complications during her pregnancy with Cooper, which led us to explore alternate ways to grow our family. We always knew we were meant to have a big family and are very excited to be able to do that. We have friends who have adopted and have had such wonderful experiences with it; we are so thrilled to be able to grow our family in this way. We feel so fulfilled as parents and have so much love to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
