dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want you to know we think you’re strong and brave to consider adoption. We’re honored you’re learning more about our family, and whether you choose us or not, we wish you the absolute best on your journey.
We cannot wait to show a little one endless love, compassion, acceptance, and support. Chip’s love of the outdoors, sports, history, music, and the written word are all things he cannot wait to share with our little one. Chelsey can’t wait to share the love of cooking, as her mother and grandmother did with her, and volunteering in the community to serve our neighbors in need. We want our child to grow up with a strong sense of who they are and to live their dreams to the fullest.
We want to always be open and honest with our child and let them know their birth parents made a strong and courageous decision with adoption. By choosing adoption for them, they receive even more people to love them, not less. This child will be our wish come true, a wish provided by their awesome birth parents. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us. We hope the best for you. We know this can’t be an easy process, and we admire your courage.
About Us
We are from Tennessee and both work in a nonprofit. We have been married since 2016. We met online and are the only person either went on a date with from the app, but we should have met so many times before. We had mutual friends, and we’re pretty sure we were even at some of the same events in high school! We dated for two years and both knew we wanted to spend our lives together. Chip proposed at a local vineyard, and it was beautiful. We got married on a cool March day in front of our closest friends and family and then had a great party with Mexican food to celebrate. Almost five years of marriage later, we are closer than we were the day we married. We are one another’s favorite person and always lead with love, respect, and communication.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a great little suburban community. We purchased our home about two years ago. It has three bedrooms, two baths, and a large backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and has lots of families and a playground. Nearby are beautiful parks, a library, and access to a pool. Vandy is our beloved dog. She truly loves everyone. Chip found her many years ago abandoned, and we love her dearly. She’s the sweetest girl you can imagine and loves to cuddle and get her beauty rest.
Our Extended Family
We are so lucky to have an amazing family and great friends. Both of our families are nearby, with the exception of Chelsey’s grandparents. Our families are incredibly excited to welcome a grandchild they can love and probably spoil a little. Chip has a sister and brother, while Chelsey is an only child.
Chelsey has a group of girlfriends she’s had since middle school. We share a group of friends where all the guys played sports together in high school and have been friends ever since; the wives have all become great friends as well. The majority have children, so there are built-in friends for our little one!
What Led Us To Adoption
We talked about adoption when we were dating and knew it was always a path we felt would be right for our family. We have both always wanted to be parents. We dote on our niece and nephews and want to begin a family of our own. We tried unsuccessfully to conceive and really felt called to adoption, so we stopped the fertility treatments and began our journey. We feel there is a little one out there who needs us like we need them. We have a very strong marriage and are solid as a couple. We have fun together, truly enjoy one another’s company, and look forward to each day together.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
