dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us to be the proud parents of your precious baby! We cannot begin to understand the weight of this decision for you, but we admire your courage as you create an adoption plan.
Life isn’t meant to be just a series of days and events. It is a celebration of the miracle that is life! If you choose us, we promise to celebrate the life of your child and the selfless love you have shown by placing him or her into our care. We are eager to include you in the celebrations as you are comfortable. Your child will always know how much you care, regardless of the amount of contact you desire to have.
We are so excited to watch our children embrace another little one and encourage them to learn “big kid” stuff. We promise to lead by example and to instill in your child the virtues of curiosity, integrity, courage, sincerity, and compassion. If you choose us, we promise to keep you in our prayers as we express our gratitude for the miracle you would be giving to us. Finally, we promise to surround your baby with a community of loving people that will enrich his or her life with laughter, wisdom, and so many fond memories.
With our deepest gratitude,
Brian & Charlianne
Watch Our Video
We first met at a Bible study, but our “electrifying” romance bloomed when Brian served as Charlianne’s electrician during her first home renovation. In 2010 we got engaged in the pouring rain and married on a perfectly sunny July day. Brian is a quick-witted, inventive, hard-working “manly” man with a servant’s heart. He makes parenting look as natural as breathing. Charlianne loves teaching and finding silly ways to make the learning “stick.” We farm crops and run our own construction business, allowing flexibility for family time. On a normal day, you will find our family saving the day in superhero costumes, cooking marshmallows over a campfire, playing hockey or strategy games. We love exploring God’s beautiful creation with our kids, teaching them to fish, to build a fort in the woods, to help with the harvest, and to care for farm animals.
Our Home & Pets
Our five-bedroom, four-bath remodeled farm home is nestled in the country, a short drive from small towns, cities, lakes, and family in every direction. Ice skating and cheering on our local hockey team fills winter days, while county fairs, cute kittens, and lazy lake days occupy our summer days. We love to hop on the golf cart to visit cousins next door, see grandparents down the road, or explore the woods behind our home. Our massive backyard with its inviting patio is an ideal place to host bonfires with the neighbors. Our dog, Zorro, loves to watch over the kids while they play in the giant sand pile and grain bin playhouse. We are eager to engage our children with more hands-on learning opportunities around the farm.
Our Extended Family
We are blessed with a large, supportive family. They mean so much to us! We get together regularly for birthday parties, holidays, bonfires, pool parties, playdates, and “just because.”
Gatherings with Brian’s family (five sisters and one brother) involve lots of laughter, children playing, and party games…not to mention an impressive food spread and even bigger dessert table! Playing water balloon games is a favorite family tradition. Brian’s oldest sister lives in Tennessee, which was the ideal place to visit to witness the solar eclipse of 2017.
Charlianne’s oldest sister and parents live under a half-hour away, and her older brother lives just an hour away. They like to plan special activities with our children several times a month, such as crafts, face paint parties, or going to the zoo, circus, or library. Charlianne’s older sister moved to Florida, so we have ventured off to the warmer climate for an ocean adventure and long to explore the beaches again soon! Every summer, we look forward to a “cousin week” that includes an epic campout at Grandpa’s pond.
Did we mention we have 35 nieces and nephews who are eager for a new cousin to love?
Our Adoption Story
Brian’s oldest sister grew her family through adoption, and infertility helped us realize the miracle of adoption was meant to be our story too. In 2013 a student from Charlianne’s former church chose us to parent our spunky girl, Zoe. A few years later, a neighbor of ours asked us to parent her 21-month-old son, Malachi. Zoe and Malachi bonded instantly. During bedtime prayers, they prayed for another sibling, and Blaze filled our home with much laughter in 2018. Then, in 2020, another sweet birthmother chose us. Just four days before she went into labor, she shared the news that shocked us all: twins! Wyatt and Weston brought so much joy. We adore our loving family, but we still have a strong desire (and room) to grow

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
