dear expectant mother

Thank you for considering us to go on this amazing journey with you! We know this decision could not have been easy, but please know that you are in our prayers. We truly believe God brings people together for a reason, and we are ecstatic that He has possibly paired you with us. Wherever you are, we will be right there by your side every step of the way.

We are so excited to complete our family with another child and a sibling for our daughter to love. Since we’ve experienced the journey of adoption once already, we can promise you your child will fit into our family seamlessly, and we will provide the best opportunities we can through education and life experiences. Your child will have the best parents and the most loving older sister to grow and laugh with and to lean on when times get tough.

While we can never fully understand what it is you’re going through, know you are gifting your child into a loving environment full of fun and laughter. We can’t wait to welcome you and your child into our family.

About Us

We met through an online dating site in February 2011, fell in love almost immediately, and have been inseparable ever since. After dating for three amazing years, we married on June 20, 2014. Charity has now secured her dream job teaching middle school math, and Rob is a data specialist. For fun, we love playing with our adorable golden retriever, working out at the gym, reading, playing video games, or cuddling up to watch TV. We are avid travelers and huge sports fans, attending many Chicago Cubs games over the summer and taking multiple trips throughout the year to explore new and exciting places.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is lively and full of love. We live in a southern suburb of a Midwest city in a small town with great schools. Our home is comfortable and stylish. We have rooms designed strictly for the children: one bedroom is decorated for our niece and nephews when they come to stay with us. Our daughter, Alexis, has a bedroom with a quaint “under the sea” theme. She also has a playroom where she learns and explores. Our neighborhood is family friendly, with kids of all ages playing with one another. Our fur baby is our golden retriever, Lily. We love walking her and playing with her in the yard. She loves Alexis and looks forward to having another little sibling to join the fun!

Our Extended Family

Our daughter, Alexis, is inquisitive and energetic. Our journey of adopting her is a story of pure love and answered prayers. We developed an immediate bond with her birth parents and still keep in contact by sending pictures and emails. We love to spend time together as a family by playing, reading, and traveling. In Alexis’s short life, she has flown on multiple airplanes, swam in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and attended multiple Chicago Cubs baseball games.

Rob’s parents have been married for 41 years. They are retired and live in town near us. Rob’s older sister is married with three children, so Alexis is showered with love and affection by her cousins every time we get together. Charity’s parents were married for 33 years, until her mother’s passing in January 2017. Charity’s father is retired and loves to come visit. She also has a younger brother who is married.

All of our family members have given so much love to one another during the adoption process, and everyone is excited for our new little one to join our family.

Our Adoption Story

The desire to adopt has been agreed upon since before we were married. Charity was diagnosed with endometriosis at age 20 and always knew that by the time she was ready for children, it would be difficult or impossible to conceive. As it turns out, we never even tried to conceive because the desire to adopt was so strong within our hearts, and in September 2017, we adopted our daughter. Now that our daughter is almost two years old, we know she would love to have a little sibling to grow up with, and we can’t wait to have a second child laughing and playing in the house. We all can’t wait to share our love and lives with the one meant for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
