dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We have tremendous respect for the choice you have made in considering adoption. We imagine you must be feeling a wide range of emotions during this time, and we hope you feel supported throughout your journey.

We are committed to creating an open and loving environment. We will treat everyone who is part of this journey with respect. Our parenting philosophy is that we are there to provide love and support to a child while also equipping them with life skills and helping them to develop the emotional aptitude needed to navigate life. Our goal is to provide a household environment where a child feels safe, supported, and loved.

We understand you need to make a choice you are comfortable with. We appreciate the weight of this decision and look forward to the possible opportunity to meet you and write our story together.

About Us

We met on Bumble, and we met for dinner on our first date. We still talk about the first moment we saw each other from across the restaurant. After initially living 40 minutes apart, we moved in together about a year after starting to date and were engaged six months after that. About four months after getting engaged, COVID lockdown hit. It forced us (and the world) to slow down. We were grateful to have each other during lockdown and became even more certain we had picked the right life partner. We enjoy getting outdoors with hikes, kayaking, walks, and simply enjoying our deck and backyard. Kristen likes getting us out in nature, while Chad makes sure we get to the beach in Florida! Our Florida trips are extra special because we got engaged on the beach there.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is nestled near a low-traffic cul-de-sac where we often hear the laughter of kids playing and adults walking the sidewalks. Our backyard borders a scenic retention pond. We have a good-sized front yard and spacious backyard, perfect for outdoor family fun, such as throwing a ball, playing soccer, and enjoying a swing set! We live in a good school district, and Chad’s parents are about ten minutes from our house. We are only a few minutes from dining, groceries, schools, and healthcare facilities. Harvey is a goldendoodle who is two years old. He is outgoing, energetic, and friendly. He loves to run in the yard, take walks, and play with his friends at doggy daycare. Harvey has a loving personality and is a big part of our lives.

Our Extended Family

Our family is important to us. We are grateful to have a big extended family, as well as some close friends that we consider family.

One of our favorite annual traditions is making a trip to Florida with our close friends, Thomas and Jordan. We love getting to enjoy time away with them. There is a lot of laughing! We also get together for a Christmas celebration around the holidays.

Many of our family traditions take place around the holidays and include getting together, baking cookies, putting up Christmas decorations, etc. One tradition that is most near and dear to our hearts is getting together with family to line Kristen's grandparent's driveway with luminaries on Christmas Eve. This tradition started roughly 40 years ago. Our family takes great pride in this task.
People make a point to drive by and check it out every year!

What Led Us To Adoption

We knew when we got married that we wanted a family. After an unsuccessful fertility journey, we decided adoption was the best way for us to start our family. Adoption has always been part of our family conversation, and we now understand how it will fit into our story. The unknown is scary, but we have faith in the adoption process because our dear friend is a birthmother herself. She has provided invaluable insight and has shown us that the adoption process can be amazing.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
