dear expectant mother
We are grateful you are considering us as a family for your baby. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult and emotional time. We admire and respect your courage and selflessness as you put together an adoption plan for your child. We would be honored to raise your child in our home and to share our lives and love with him or her. The fact you are considering adoption shows the love you have for your child in putting his or her interest at the forefront.
While we will never be able to express how grateful we are for you considering us, we want you to know how much the gift of your child will forever change and bless our lives. We dream of our family going on vacations together, hiking, walking the dog, spending time at the family lake home learning to swim and ski, and spending time as a family around the dinner table. Your child will be embraced by our family with unconditional love and support.
We are open to whatever relationship you desire to have with us and your child. We plan to make sure your child knows what a remarkable mother you are and the depth of your love for him or her, and we want your child to know about his or her journey and background. Thank you so much for considering us.
We are Chad and Kate! We met in college through mutual friends and started dating soon after. Chad even visited Kate on her semester abroad in France. We married nine years ago on our college campus, where our friendship began. Kate is caring, generous, and fun-loving. Chad is thoughtful, hardworking, and goofy. We love spending time together and seeking new adventures. During the week, you will find us as a family walking, cooking, and discovering new restaurants and food. On the weekends, you will find us at Kate’s family’s cabin, getting together with friends and their kids, and hiking. We have a state parks pass, so we are always exploring new trails. For work, Kate is a study abroad coordinator at a local university, and Chad is a supply chain analyst. We both love our jobs because they provide us with flexibility and a good work–life balance.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a spacious two-story house in a family-friendly neighborhood. Minou, our cat, and Barley, our dog, love the open concept house to lay in the sun and run around. We have four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a large backyard with a deck. We live in a highly rated school district with many educational opportunities. We also live within walking distance to a regional park with trails, a beach, and a large playground. Our family loves the proximity to the beach and trails because we enjoy spending time outdoors.
Our Extended Family
Kate’s parents live at their lake home, so we usually head up there to spend time on the water. Kate has two sisters who live out of state. Even though Kate’s sisters do not live nearby, we video chat and get the cousins together at least once a year at the lake. Grandpa loves taking his grandkids out on the boat. Kate’s parents have retired and are active, full-time grandparents!
Chad’s mom and sister also live out of state. Chad’s sister and her husband have two children. We enjoy getting together on the weekends or during the holidays. When Chad’s family comes to town, we enjoy taking them to new places, such as baseball games, the zoo, restaurants, and the beach. Chad’s mom and her husband are also retired and jump at the chance to take their grandchildren camping.
We are fortunate to consider our group of friends as family. We play on a summer softball league with them, and we get together often for game nights, dinners, and birthday celebrations. Our friends have been supportive throughout our journey, and they can’t wait to have another kiddo around.
What Led Us To Adoption
We began the adoption journey after going through infertility and loss. While we were waiting, Kate discovered she was pregnant with our daughter. We knew this wasn’t the end of our adoption journey, just a delay. We believe families take shape in many ways, and our journey to completing our family is no different. We’ve always wanted more than one child and a sibling for our daughter. Our home is filled with love, joy, and support. We are looking forward to completing our family through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
