dear expectant mother

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking the time to read our profile. We hope we could give you a small glimpse into our lives, though we know this doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. Know that we are so excited to become first-time parents, and, if we’re being honest, so completely nervous! Though we are thrilled to be on this journey and are longing for a baby to love, we know that our happiness must come at the expense of the difficult decision you are now faced with.

We cannot even begin to understand the choice you are making and the heaviness in your heart as you consider this path. It shows an incredible amount of strength to reach out in a time of need, and we applaud you for being so selfless. Your child is fortunate to have a mother that already wants the absolute best for them and their future. We are praying for you as you make your way through this journey. No matter what decisions you make, we are certain it will be the right one for you and your baby.

We are honored that you are considering us, and we look forward to raising your child in a life and household of love and laughter.

About Us

We started dating eleven years ago and have been happily married for over six. We began as neighbors, and life reunited us in 2007. We haven’t spent a day apart since then. Chad works as a PC Technician at a local high school, and Courtney works as an X-ray Technologist/Medical Assistant at an Orthopedic office. We are incredibly thankful that our jobs allow for holidays and weekends off to spend with our family and friends. We enjoy walking our dogs, hiking, watching football, and trying out new recipes. On warm days, you can find us on the back porch grilling and making trips to the local farmer’s market. In colder weather, we like to snuggle up inside watching movies or spend time outside playing in the snow with our dogs. We love to travel and look forward to family vacations every year.

Our Home & Pets

We own a cozy, two-bedroom home in Virginia. Our house sits on a cul-de-sac in a large neighborhood that consists of people from all walks of life. Our fenced-in backyard and deck allow for the outdoor living we really enjoy, while still giving us privacy. We like to grill, listen to music, and play with the dogs in the kiddie pool whenever possible. We are within fifteen minutes of our jobs, medical facilities, schools, a library, and two large parks. The other members of our household are our dogs, Cherokee and Claire . We adopted them both as young dogs, so they have shared in many of our adventures. There is an endless supply of love and laughter in our house that we can’t wait to share!

Our Extended Family

We each grew up in the same community that we currently reside in. Our parents and brothers, along with Chad’s sister-in-law and neice, all live within an hour of our house. A lot of Courtney’s extended family lives in our immediate area, also. We are so grateful to have everyone just a quick drive away.

We get together regularly for family dinners, holidays, and every birthday. We use any excuse to celebrate! One of Courtney’s favorite family traditions is baking and decorating Christmas sugar cookies, and one of Chad’s favorite traditions is manning the grill during summer weekend cookouts. Our families are so excited to partake on this adoption journey with us and look forward to welcoming a new baby into the family!

What Led Us To Adoption

We started trying to have children about one year into our marriage without success, and we later found out that we would likely never be able to conceive. We were heartbroken, as all either of us had ever wanted was to be parents. Our hearts then led us to adoption, because we know that family is not based on biology; it’s based on love. Adoption is our opportunity to grow our family from two to three, and we could not be happier to be on this amazing journey!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
