dear expectant mother
It is difficult to know how to start a letter to someone we have never met but already have so much love for. The entire adoption process is one of mixed feelings and emotions. What we are looking forward to as one of the happiest days of our lives will most likely be one of the hardest days of yours. Our hearts break for you as you take on the task of making life-changing decisions for both you and your child. We are praying you will feel supported and loved while making these courageous decisions.
We understand your decision to share your child with someone else is monumental and the most unselfish act a mother can do. Thank you for trusting us to love, cherish, mold, and raise your baby. Adoption is one of the most beautiful acts of love, and we are honored that we get to walk through this journey together. We are hopeful that as the years go by, you will always be a part of your child’s life and they will always know where they came from and how much they were and are loved.
We met on a blind date and have been married for 13 years and have four children. (Obviously the blind date went well!) Casey’s work schedule enables him to be home early every afternoon to enjoy time with the family. Dawn teaches piano lessons in our home and also teaches swimming lessons to our kids and the neighborhood kids during the summer. We are very involved in our church, where Dawn plays piano and Casey teaches his kids’ Sunday School class. Dawn loves to read, while Casey loves working out and is a personal trainer. We both enjoy triathlons, sports events, and all sorts of outdoor activities we can do as a family.
Our Home & Pets
We have lived in our home since 2015. It’s located on a quiet street with lots of other young families and a park and school right up the road. It is a four-bedroom home with two bathrooms, a den, and a sunroom. We have a very large back yard with many fun toys for the children to enjoy, a fire pit that is great for s’mores, and a playhouse. We have our own garden boxes and raspberry bushes (homemade raspberry jam…yum!) to enjoy during the summer and fall months.
Our Extended Family
Casey is the middle child of three siblings. His parents still live in the area and are very active in their grandchildren’s lives. Dawn has 14 siblings, one of whom is her twin sister. Twelve of her siblings were adopted. Her parents also live nearby and attend all the grandchildren’s activities. We live a few miles from Dawn’s twin sister and four of our cousins. We love being so close to so much of our extended family. Our extended family loves to take annual vacations together, such as Disneyland, Disneyworld, ski vacations, and cousins camp, and we also enjoy many special holiday gatherings spent with one another.
What Led Us To Adoption
In July of 2018, we were blessed with the adoption of our youngest son. He has brought us so much love and joy. We continue to have a beautiful relationship with his birth mom. Our family is surrounded by those who also have been blessed by adoption. Dawn’s family is composed of 12 interracially adopted siblings, and her twin sister has also adopted two sons. Adoption has never been a question of “if” but “when” for both of us. Our extended family is extremely supportive and involved in our lives, and we know our next child will be loved by everyone.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
