dear expectant mother

Dear Beautiful Friend,

We want you to know how much we admire you and your strength as you embark on this selfless journey. You are strong and beautiful, and you considering us to raise your child is incredibly courageous and brave.

We want you to know that if you choose us, we will provide your child with unconditional love, support, fun, and security. They will be entering into a home filled with lots of fun, laughter, creativity, and love. We promise to give this baby a happy childhood and supportive home life. We will nurture their education and hobbies, and we will always be open with them about what a selfless woman their mother is. Our hearts are open to loving you and your child, and we look forward to teaching them about our passions too. We will make sure to fill their lives with art and music and that they experience everything life has to offer. We promise to show them the world with traveling and education and to surround them with loving friends and family. Over the last few years of our infertility journey, we realized how much we wanted a child and how much love we have to give.

We want you to know how grateful we will be if you choose us to raise this miracle child, and we will always love you for making this incredibly selfless decision. You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts.

With the utmost respect and love,
Carrie and Rick

About Us

We met through mutual friends and connected over our love of art and music. Carrie is an art museum director and curator, and Rick is a music educator. We are both artists and musicians who are laid back and creative. As an educator, Rick is the most patient, kind person to everyone he teaches. He also enjoys working with his hands and building things. He can fix anything! As a museum director, Carrie enjoys spreading her love of art by creating engaging programs for people of all ages in her community. Carrie also volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club, where she assists with their art club—she loves hanging out with the girls and talking to them about school and life while doing art projects. We love to hang out with our dogs while creating a fun-loving, safe home where we cook dinner with friends and family, grill out in the summertime and swim in our neighborhood pool.

Our Home & Pets

We love our neighborhood and community. We were both raised here, so we are very committed to this city. We live on an acre of land with a big back yard and a neighborhood pool. The neighborhood is very quiet, wooded, and safe. There are a lot of children who live here too. We have wonderful museums, including an art museum, a great children’s museum, a natural history museum, sporting venues, tons of parks, and community events that make every weekend exciting and fun! We also have two very lovable, sweet, old dogs named Petunia and Cowboy. They are 9 and 11, and we couldn’t love them more!

Our Extended Family

In addition to her parents, Carrie has two older brothers. She is extremely close to her family, and they love spending holidays and vacations together. Carrie talks to her parents several times a week, and her mom is her best friend. She has several aunts, uncles, and cousins who all enjoy being together with lots of laughs and good food. Everyone is very supportive and loving.

Rick was best friends with his mother until she passed away in 2011. She was very important to him, and they loved having their weekly lunches, where they would talk for hours. He and his father share a love of music and playing the guitar. Rick has three younger brothers and is closest to his youngest brother and his family. We love to celebrate holidays with them (especially Christmas!) and take bike rides.

Between us, we have eight nieces and nephews we love spending time with and being a part of their lives. We would love to have a child to share with our families—that baby would be very loved!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been trying to have a child for several years. After unsuccessful attempts at IVF, we realized it wasn’t important what path we took to become parents. We desperately wanted a child to love, so we thought adoption was the next step to making this dream happen. Carrie has two cousins who were adopted from Korea, and they were the best of friends growing up. One of her adopted cousins went on to adopt a child as well. We feel like it’s the greatest gift someone can give a family. We are so excited to become parents and share our lives with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
