dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Words cannot express our gratefulness for what an amazing thing you are considering. Being a mother is giving everything of yourself for what you feel is best for your child. Thank you for considering an adoption plan and hopefully us to love and raise your baby.
Should you choose us, we are looking forward to showing your baby the beauty of the outdoors by hiking and camping. We love to read to our children and are looking forward to opening the door of imagination with your baby through books and make-believe games. As they grow, we plan to teach them how to cook and what a joy food is, especially the occasional treat of ice cream or chocolate. We are excited to share music through Sean’s instrument and Cari’s vocal skill—and so much dancing! When they are older and stronger, we will share more outdoor activities, like bike riding and rock climbing.
Above all else, we are excited to share our lives and passions with your baby and help them discover interests and passions to pursue with our support. We are excited to hopefully meet you and your baby and to get to know a new and amazing creation of God.
Thank you for considering our loving family.
We have been married since 2013. We met in California and were friends for a long time before deciding to explore something more. We fell in love while rock climbing and were married surrounded by redwoods. We love to travel and explore new places, cultures, and food together. We have built amazing memories and shared some difficult seasons. Through it all, we have come to trust and love each other better than before. Sean works as a technical artist in the videogame industry. He started as a 3D modeler and artist and has found his passion in supporting artists in a more technical role. Cari is a recruiter and has the pleasure of helping people find work they can be passionate about. She enjoys talking to people and being helpful, so human resources seemed like the natural course.
We live in a three-bedroom split level we are renovating. We have enjoyed the hands-on experience of modernizing our home and truly making it ours. Our backyard overlooks a small hill with many trees, making it feel like we live in a large treehouse. We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood with several young families and dog lovers. While we don’t have pets currently, we both love dogs and hope to own one in a few years. We look forward to sharing the local hiking trails, camping, and the unique tide pool-filled beaches of Washington with our kids.
Our Extended Family
Our families like to get together around the holidays at least once a year for those who live farther away. For the family living closer, we visit them once every week when possible. Before the pandemic, we had grandmothers taking care of our son one day every week, and he would attend daycare four days a week. During the pandemic, we have modified our work schedules to provide care for both boys during the workweek and, when necessary, hired a nanny.
Our favorite traditions include dressing up for Halloween, family travel or dinners for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Passover, and camping at least once every summer. Both our extended families are excited about our desire to adopt! They have supported us through prayer, advice, and finances and in preparing for our home study. Both of our extended families have seen the blessing of adoption and are thrilled to see it bless our lives.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both had experience with adoption growing up, and we bonded early in our relationship over a mutual desire to become parents through adoption. Cari had a few friends growing up in the foster care system and several who were adopted. At 15, Sean was able to see his parents welcome his brother, who was three years old when he was adopted. We have two biological sons who are very social and loving. Our three-year-old loves babies and is passionate about teaching his brother all about the world. We want to see that capacity for love grow in all our children. We also want to honor the calling God had given us in our mutual desire for adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
