dear expectant mother
We are Candice and Sara. We would first like to say thank you so very much for viewing our profile and giving us an opportunity to tell you about ourselves. We cannot begin to imagine the emotions you are going through right now, but we want you to know that we admire and respect your strength in making this decision. Without you, our dream of having a child would not be possible.
We have so much love between us and have so much more to give a child. They will always know how much they are loved, loved unconditionally, and know what a strong healthy relationship looks like. We are very excited to share in the joys of raising a child, attending school activities, and showing them the world. We will show them the world and show them the local cultures. We have all the love and support from both of our families and look forward to meeting you and welcoming you both into our lives.
Hello, our names are Candice and Sara. We first met in Oklahoma City 12 years ago and have been married for 2 years. We were both enlisted in the United States Air Force and assigned to the same unit working on computer networks. Our connection was immediate and we have been inseparable ever since. We are committed to our relationship and firmly believe in treating each other with love and respect and fully support each other. We both love to laugh and spend time with family. We love going to sporting events, geocaching, kayaking, hiking, and traveling. We have traveled to around 30 states and around 20 countries around the world and plan on seeing the rest of the states and many more countries.
Candice got out of the Air Force and now works as a government civilian as an Information Systems Security Officer. She loves cross-stitching, baking, watching hockey (Go Penguins!) and any kind of home improvement projects. She also loves Science Fiction movies and shows. Sara is still enlisted in the Air Force and works as Cyber Systems Operator. She loves running, putting puzzles together, and watching sports…especially anything that involves Syracuse University.
Our Home & Pets
We own a 1500 square-foot 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in a metropolitan area of Ohio. We have a big, fenced in backyard with lots of room to play and put in a swing set. Our neighborhood is very quiet and very safe. We have two cats, Collie and Blue. Collie is a 13-year old long-hair black cat, and the most affectionate cat you will ever meet. Blue is an 11-year old Russian grey cat that wants attention when he wants it and runs away when he does not. We also have a 10-year old boxer dog named Duke. He is so spoiled and loves everyone he meets. He loves hugs and kisses and does tricks for treats.
Our Extended Family
Family is everything to us. We both have small families and both of our fathers were in the military. Sara’s parents live within 6 hours, so we get to visit with them often. We also get to go on annual vacations with Sara’s parents. Candice’s parents live in the Dallas metropolitan area, so it is not as easy to visit each other. Sara has one brother and Candice has two sisters, three nieces, and one nephew.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have considered having a child for several years, but the timing was never right. We have finally reached a point in our lives where we can settle down, call a place home, and have a child. Candice has a job that is very stable with a very flexible schedule. Sara is stationed at a base that she can finish the rest of her career at and retire. The timing is also perfect because by the time the child starts school, Sara will be retired and able to be a homeroom mom go on every field trip. We both had to have hysterectomies because of endometriosis; so having a biological child is not an option for us. Candice’s father was adopted and it was a very positive experience, so we knew adoption was the way we wanted to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
