dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are Jon and Brittney. Firstly, we would like to thank you for dropping by to read our bio. There is so much thought that goes into writing this because that’s what you deserve and need. You are such an amazing light for sharing this life with the world, and we know you will find the path that’s best for you and your precious baby.
When we are blessed with a sweet bundle of our own, we plan to show them a love deeper than we ever thought possible with lots of outdoor walks, family dinners, and playtime. (Jon is looking forward to playing with the cool toys as much as our future child will.) This will not always be easy. There will be sleepless nights, scary times, and future bedtime routines of teeth brushing drama and a cute face saying, “I don’t wanna go to bed.” We look forward to it all with excitement.
We hope to share all these wonderful things and have many great adventures with our growing family. Just know that if you are reading this, you are special, you are in our thoughts, and we hope to talk with you soon.
Jon loves being outdoors, learning new technology, playing video and card games, and being around family. Brittney’s hobbies include yoga, watching movies, reading, loving our three dogs and cat, and being outdoors. Jon is a cloud architect and works from home. Brittney is also able to spend most of her day at home but steps out to teach a yoga class for an hour or two. Due to our open schedules, we will have the ability to give a child our undivided attention and care. We spend our free time taking our three dogs for long walks, cooking meals together, and playing card games. We love the outdoors and can’t wait to go exploring playgrounds, exotic locations, and all of the national parks with our child someday. There will be family dinners with Grandma, Papa, Aunty Sandra and cousin Wyatt that are filled with lots of laughs.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a lovely two-level home in a very safe neighborhood. We are surrounded in our neighborhood by teachers of all grades and police officers ready to help at a moment’s notice. We have the perfect blend of city and country living. Where we live is quaint, small, and full of fun family activities, such as live music, painting classes, dance, and much more. When we are home, we are surrounded by the love of three dogs and one older cat. They love all people and are a gentle, loving, furry family.
Our Extended Family
One word that describes our family is loving. It’s the real kind of love, where you care for each person for not only their goodness but for their flaws. We are so full of family members, with grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. We have a mother, sister, and nephew who live close by and a very large family living in Michigan. We make it a point to visit Michigan during the holidays, and they visit us during the year, so there are always family gatherings to share.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our road to adoption has been a journey spanning over ten years. We cannot have biological children due to a genetic disorder, but have always been so excited about adopting some day. Adoption is very near and dear to Jon due to his mother and uncle being adopted as well as his two cousins with whom he is very close. Ever since we met, we knew we would be adopting, and we have spent the last ten or more years planning for this moment. We are so excited to share our love with a new member of the family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
