dear expectant mother
Although we don’t know the circumstances that have led you to adoption, we understand the gravity of this decision you’re considering and empathize with the amount of love it takes to make it. We have been enduring our own journey, and we hope we can help make your decision a little easier by promising to raise your child with every bit of love and care you yourself would give them and being there for you and your baby. The two of us want the best for you and the precious life you carry. We promise to provide a loving, caring home for your child to learn and grow! Your baby will always know a life full of laughs and adventures.
We believe God has placed each of us where we need to be in order to make our family whole. It is our belief that God has placed you in our lives in order to help fulfill this dream we have prayed so long for. We know that whatever your reasons, you only want the best for your child, so rest assured we will love your child as if they were our own flesh and blood. We will do everything in our power to make sure they are loved, cherished, and encouraged beyond expectations throughout their life. Thank you for considering us as potential parents to your little guy or gal!
We met in high school, and during spring break of 2007, we went on our first date, where we hit it off immediately. We’ve been together ever since! We got married in 2011 in a small church ceremony surrounded by our family and friends. We are a laid-back couple that enjoys quality time together. We both love to cook! We both have our specialities though: Brittany is a baker who loves sweets, and Lucas is a self-proclaimed chef who loves to experiment with meat, veggies, and spices. We like to hike together in local national parks and just enjoy the great outdoors in general. When we go out, we prefer a classic date night of dinner and a movie. On the weekends, we like to visit with friends and family, hang out at home with our dog Duke, play games, and (you guessed it) eat!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quaint home with a large back yard in a family-friendly subdivision in Tennessee with lots of neighbors with kids. We also have a dog named Duke who is a lazy teddy bear who loves kids! He loves attention and gives us all the cuddles. When our little cousins come to visit, he babysits them. Lucas works for our county school system, and Brittany works for a local bank. There are three city parks, two state parks, and a national park all located within minutes of our home that we visit regularly to walk trails and explore local events. We cannot wait to experience all of the amazing things our community has to offer with a little one!
Our Extended Family
We both have big families! Brittany has a brother, and Lucas has a sister. Brittany’s mother has two siblings, a brother and sister. Her sister has two adopted daughters and two biological sons; her brother has two twin daughters, and those daughters have children (two girls and a boy). Our families include lots of cousins as well. Needless to say, we always have a crowd for any given holiday, birthday, or family gathering!
We always have multiple family dinners on holidays between both of our families. Christmas is our favorite! It’s crazy, hectic, fun, and full of food. We can’t wait to share that with a little one and show them the joys of big families. Halloween is always fun as well because Lucas demands we do something fun for his birthday. Now that he is older though, he would love to spend it trick or treating at our families’ houses. We both also would love the excuse to get dressed up again.
What Led Us To Adoption
We come from big extended families and have always wanted kids. We tried on our own without any luck. When that didn’t work, we decided to try fertility treatments for a few years, but they were ultimately unsuccessful. After much discussion, we decided adoption was the right choice for us. While researching adoption, we consulted Brittany’s aunt, who adopted two girls a few years ago. Watching them showed us adoption is a wonderful thing, and we are excited to start our own journey to complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
