dear expectant mother

Words cannot describe how thankful we are that you’re reading our profile and are considering us to love, protect, support, and raise your precious child. Though we cannot understand the difficult decision you are facing, we are in awe of your strength and courage. Please know we come from understanding, loving, and diverse families who are all excited to also love and support your child.

If you choose us to raise your baby, you would be allowing us to continue on with the legacy and heritage of not only our family but yours as well. We take pride in making sure people understand their past and the sacrifices that were made to get them there. Your child will always know it was because of love that you chose a family that wanted them so badly. We understand diversity and inclusion and hope you know this child will know nothing but love, compassion, understanding, and a life of fun and family.

Your bravery and selflessness are things we can only hope to achieve. Your baby will bring so much joy, love, and beauty into this world. Our hope is that your baby will grow into their authentic self and emulate the bravery of their mother.

Thank you for considering making our dream of becoming parents come true.

About Us

We are an enthusiastic and passionate couple that enjoys the value of family connections. We met a few years ago through a mutual friend, and our love grew from there. Brian is a registered nurse, and it shows through his big heart and care for others. Cody is a historian who values education and building connections with people. Together we enjoy family nights where we put together puzzles, play board games, have the occasional dance party, take our dog for long walks, and cuddle up watching Disney movies while eating popcorn. We also enjoy gardening in our fenced-in backyard while our dog, Henry, plays with leaves and sticks.

Our Home & Pets

Our small town, with its tight-knit community in northern Illinois, is the perfect place to raise a family. Our cozy three-bedroom, two-bath home is near the center of our farming town. We’re by the state park where we take our three-year-old dog for walks, and we can’t wait to add a stroller! The schools in our town have smaller class sizes, making each child’s education a priority versus larger schools. Our dog, Henry, is the sweetest and most curious creature; he loves meeting new people and playing with children, and children love playing with him. Everyone in our town is active in the community by maintaining community gardens, volunteering for children's sports, and helping the elderly with lawn care.

Our Extended Family

Combined, we have twenty-two nieces and nephews. Brian's parents live close by, and we enjoy seeing them often. Brian had two brothers, but sadly, he lost his youngest brother recently. While he isn’t here in person, we know he’ll forever be watching and loving us and our future child from above. Brian’s other brother lives in Texas. He also has a close friend who’s like a sister nearby. Brian has two step-siblings, both with children and one with triplets! When we get together, we enjoy making pierogies and playing family games. Yearly, we go to the family cabin in Wisconsin, where we fish, have beach days, toast marshmallows, ride ATVs, and take nature walks.

Originally from Michigan, Cody has two brothers and two sisters. His family is tight knit and enjoys spending time outdoors. When we go to Michigan to visit, we help his mother garden and learn recipes from prior generations. His oldest brother has three children the grandparents love to visit and bring sweets. His second oldest brother loves crafting and art, and he takes his nieces and nephews to make annual ornaments for their grandma’s tree.

Our families offer nothing but support for us, and we are so grateful to have been given such a loving and close family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always wanted to grow our family; we know we are meant to be dads. We come from big families that have spread across the United States, but we have tight connections. We are so excited about adopting. To us, it’s the best way to experience the joy and love a child brings to life and we can pour into a child. We’ve been blessed to witness the joy and love from numerous people in our lives who have grown their families through adoption. We are so excited to be here and start our journey to grow our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
