Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us to be the proud parents of your precious baby! We cannot begin to understand the weight of this decision for you, but we admire your selflessness as you consider an adoption plan.
Life isn’t meant to be just a series of days and events. It is meant to be a celebration of the miracle that is life! If you choose us, we promise to celebrate the life of your child and the selfless love you have shown by placing him or her into our care. We are eager to include you in the celebrations as you are comfortable. Your child will always know how much you care, regardless of the amount of contact you desire to have.
We are so excited to watch our children embrace another little one and help us teach him or her “big kid” stuff. We promise to lead by example and to instill in your child the virtues of curiosity, integrity, courage, sincerity, and compassion. If you choose us, we promise to keep you in our prayers as we express our gratitude for the miracle you would be giving to us. Finally, we promise to surround your baby with a community of loving people that will enrich his or her life with laughter, wisdom, and so many memories.
We met at a Bible study but an “electrifying” romance bloomed when Brian served as Charlianne’s electrician during her first home renovation. In 2010, we got engaged in the pouring rain and married later that summer. Brian is a quick-witted, inventive, hard-working “manly” man with a servant’s heart. He makes parenting look as natural as breathing. Charlianne loves teaching, and she finds creative ways to share with others her faith and her excitement about learning. We farm crops and run our own construction business, allowing flexibility for family time. On a normal day, you will find our children searching for treasures buried in a tote of macaroni noodles, or throwing a pretend “pool” party in the living room. We love exploring God’s beautiful creation with our kids, teaching them to canoe, fish, to help with the harvest, and to care for farm animals.
Our Home & Pets
Our newly remodeled four-bedroom, three-bath “open-concept” home is nestled in the country, a short drive from small towns, lakes, and family in every direction. We like to bring our dog, Jack, on a stroll just down the road to visit grandparents. We are eager to engage our children in hands-on learning around the farm, as well as building forts in the woods. The local schools where Brian attended are very nurturing and community-oriented. The summer brings opportunities to explore county fairs and participate in fitness events. Our massive backyard and inviting patio is an ideal place for bonfires with neighbors. Neighborhood kids ask to come over and play on the grain bin playhouse Brian built.
Our Extended Family
We are blessed to have a large, loving, and supportive family. They mean so much to us. We get together regularly for birthday parties, holidays, bonfires, play dates, and “just because.”
Gatherings with Brian’s family (five sisters and one brother) often involve lots of laughter, children playing, and party games, not to mention an impressive food spread and an even bigger dessert table! Playing water games in the yard is a favorite family tradition. Brian’s oldest sister lives in Tennessee, so we had a blast traveling down to see them during the solar eclipse of 2017.
Charlianne’s oldest sister and parents live less than a half hour away. They like to plan special activities with our children several times a month - swimming at the Y, or going to the zoo, the circus, the library. They love to do crafts and even go for horse-rides! Her older sister and brother moved far away, but every summer, we look forward to a “cousin week” that includes an epic campout at the pond. We look forward to exploring South Dakota and Florida in the future.
Did we mention that we have 31 nieces and nephews that are eager for a new cousin to love?!
What Led Us To Adoption
Brian’s oldest sister grew her family through the adoption of two sons, and after several unsuccessful fertility treatments, we realized that the miracle of adoption was meant to be part of our story, too. A young lady from Charlianne’s church chose us to parent our spunky girl, Zoe, in 2013. It was incredible to inform our family of the events that transpired with a photo of Brian wearing a “Father” sticker while holding our premature daughter at the NICU! We longed for Zoe to grow up with a sibling, and a couple years later, a former neighbor of ours asked us to parent her 21-month old son. Zoe and Malachi adore their birthmothers and each other. During bedtime prayers, they pray for another “little” sibling. While we have an amazing loving family we knew we were not done growing, this is why we are so happy to be on this adoption journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
