dear expectant mother
A simple thank you cannot convey my true feelings about being considered during this process. I want you to know how courageous and selfless I think you are. I know you must be feeling a lot of emotions as you look for a family for your child. I respect you and support you in this difficult decision you face.
Should you choose me, your child will be raised around a large, supportive family, full of fun and adventure. I look forward to sharing our love of cooking, music, and travel. He/she will always be surrounded by family and friends. I feel both emotionally and financially secure in being able to provide your child with a beautiful life.
I wish you the best in making this decision, and I will respect whatever you may choose. I would be honored, humbled, and overjoyed should I be your choice to raise your child. I will cherish every moment, every milestone, and be forever grateful for the sacrifice you made. Thank you!
My Lifestyle
Hi! I’m Lamont. I am a heavy equipment repairer as well as being a Sergeant 1st Class with the Army Reserve. Outside of work and travel, I enjoy staying active at the gym, taking long walks with my dog when the weather is nice. I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, making memories that I hope they will carry with them for years.
Traveling is a passion of mine—experiencing new places, trying different restaurants, and seeing plays always excites me. Recently, I visited Savannah, Georgia during St. Patrick’s Day. While there, I explored multiple museums and attractions, soaking in as much of the city’s culture and history as possible. In 2025, my Army Reserve annual training took me to Australia, which was an incredible experience involving multiple countries and unique challenges.
In my downtime, I like watching anime, documentaries, and playing video games. Football is also a big part of my life; I enjoy watching games with friends and family, sharing the excitement of the season. These activities keep me engaged, balanced, and connected to the people and experiences I value most.
My Home & Neighborhood
I live in a cozy three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath split-level home with a backyard that’s perfect for relaxing or spending time with family. My neighborhood is quiet, safe, and kid-friendly, and I’m lucky to have close relationships with many of my neighbors.
My town is small but charming, with its own sense of community, and at the same time, I’m only about 20 minutes away from a big city full of opportunities—whether it’s trying new restaurants, exploring museums, enjoying parks, or attending festivals. At the center of my home life is my sweet three-year-old puppy, Darla, who brings joy and energy to our everyday routine.
All of these pieces together—my home, my neighborhood, my community, and the people (and pup!) I share them with—make me grateful for the life I get to live each day.
My Family & Friends
Growing up as the only boy surrounded by sisters shaped much of who I am today. The holidays in our home were always centered around food, which sparked my lifelong love of cooking.. Beyond the kitchen, family events were never complete without rousing rounds of board and card games, which brought us even closer together.
I also share a special bond with my mentor, whom I met as a teenager. Over the years, that connection has remained strong and continues to guide me, reminding me of the value of steady support and encouragement.
Family has continued to grow through my in-laws, and I’ve been blessed with another layer of love and tradition. Music fills their home and every other year, we take a family vacation together, spending a week or more exploring different parts of the United States. These trips, along with holidays, are some of my most cherished times. I feel grateful that both sides of our family live within hours of each other, making it easy to share in celebrations, traditions, and everyday life.
Looking back, I see how these relationships have grounded me and enriched my life. Whether through food, music, games, or simple time together, my family and friends remind me of the joy in connection and the importance of cherishing the people closest to me.
What Led Me To Adoption
My journey began 14 years ago when I crossed paths with my wife through a mutual friend. The connection we shared was profound, and we wholeheartedly agreed that if we couldn’t conceive a child, we would embrace adoption. Our journey was filled with challenges, including two military deployments, a significant relocation, and the joy of purchasing our first home together. In 2024, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my wife while we were actively pursuing adoption, and the expectant mother ultimately decided to keep her baby. Despite this loss, I am determined to honor the dream that Bethany and I built together. I am committed to continuing this journey, reaching out for support, and keeping our shared hope alive.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
