dear expectant mother
We would like to start by thanking you. Thank you for reading through our profile as you process these life-changing choices for you and your baby. We think you have a tremendous amount of courage in this decision and abundant hope for your future.
We cannot imagine the thoughts, questions, and concerns that you must have, but let us help you rest assured about a few things. First, we will provide a home that is non-judgmental and full of unconditional love. Second, we strongly believe that education starts in the home. From infancy until they leave the home as an adult, your baby will learn truth, values, and responsibility. They will have endless opportunities to explore and learn about nature as well as be surrounded with endless joy and love. Your baby will also have the opportunity to develop and mature in their faith. As parents, we will model this in the home as well as by attending weekly church activities. Lastly, your child will grow up knowing their birth family, should that be something you want. We want them to always know of your selfless love and courage. As you walk your path, we want you to know we admire you and are so grateful for you taking the time to get to know us a bit better.
We knew after our second date that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We both had a passion for family and shared many of the same values and beliefs. Having a family has been a childhood dream for both of us. Dan is a farm mechanic at the family business. He’s dedicated and a hard worker. He enjoys gardening, crop farming, tinkering with home and farm projects, and attending local farm auctions. Bethany has a background in education and tutors elementary students. She’s determined, passionate, and caring, and she enjoys cooking, baking, shopping for amazing deals, or reading a good book while enjoying a wonderful cup of coffee. Being self-employed gives us flexibility to handle the day-to-day needs of a family and gives us ample time to enjoy our weekly Bible study, extended family, local festivals, laughing, learning, watching a good movie, or spending time with friends.
Our Home & Pets
We live in rural Wisconsin, about 10 minutes outside a larger city. We have access to museums, the zoo, shopping, and family entertainment. Our house is a small two-story farmhouse built by Dan’s grandfather during World War II, and we are currently upgrading the house room by room. Dan enjoys crop farming and raising fruits and vegetables in a large garden with his parents, while Bethany enjoys preparing the harvest for the beautiful snowy Wisconsin winters. We also enjoy walks, visiting local parks, and attending local festivals. Your baby will grow up with many opportunities available to him or her. There are recreation, music, art, and agricultural programs in the community. They will also enjoy playing outside, going to local parks, and learning to swim.
Our Extended Family
We are so grateful to have our extended family close by us. So many family members are waiting with open hearts to welcome your child into our family. Dan’s parents live just 100 yards down the road with his brother, who is also part of the family business. Dan’s sister and her family live 15 miles away; she and her husband have two young boys who are over the moon excited to have a young cousin!
Bethany’s mother lives three hours away, but she visits frequently, and weekend getaways to see Grandma are certainly on the calendar! Bethany’s dad went to heaven in April 2018 after a 45-year marriage. Her sister lives in Guatemala with her husband and three children, and they come to visit every 12-18 months.
Making memories through family traditions and life experiences is very important to us, and we consider our church family an important part of our lives. We are involved in our local church multiple times a week, so your child will have an extended community there to support them as they grow.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been in the forefront of our minds, long before we met each other. We both have seen first hand the joys and miracle that adoption has brought to our friends’ lives. Seeing them grow their families through this wonderful process has given us a sense of peace as we begin our own adoption journey. Pretty soon after we began dating, we discussed our dreams and hopes for children in our future. Knowing that having biological children would be a challenge for us, we began our research into adoption right away. We are beyond thrilled and overjoyed for this journey into parenthood.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
