dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for the possibility of choosing us to love and care for your baby. We know this is a very difficult decision for you and want to express our admiration for the strength it takes for you to consider this path. We understand this is a life-changing decision for you, and we want you to know you will be changing our lives too. Your courageous and selfless decision to make an adoption plan gives our family an amazing gift that we cannot give ourselves—a child to love endlessly.

Your baby will always know what an amazing mom you are and how much love you have for them. We are open to whatever relationship you desire to have with us and your baby. We would like our adopted child to know who their birth family is, their story, where they came from, and especially about you.

A child will add so much to our lives—more laughter, more love, and a lifetime of new memories. Our main goal is to raise your baby with encouragement, adventure, and honesty. We will embrace your child into our family, support their dreams, and love them unconditionally. We are incredibly hopeful and endlessly excited about welcoming a beautiful new baby into our lives.

About Us

Our life together began in Mrs. Rogers’ fourth grade class. Addison was a new student, and after he shared his dry noodles with Bernadette, we became good friends. Due to different break schedules, we lost touch in junior high but became great friends again during our sophomore year in high school. After high school, we started working together, grew closer as friends, then started dating. We married in 2010 after 10 years of dating, and we still enjoy doing things together. Addison is hard working and outgoing and loves sports. Bernadette is also hard working, loves to spend time and travel with her family and friends, and loves going to sporting events. When at home, we spend time with our dogs, watching sports, or just hanging out outside, gardening or cleaning the yard.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a town with lots of trees and only a few blocks from the police station. Our neighbors are friendly, and we watch out for each other. Our home is a cozy three-bedroom, two-bath home with a good-sized backyard to hang out and play in. We have two dogs that are part of our family. Baily and Maddie (mother and daughter) are both full-bred black and tan Yorkshire terriers and love walks and car rides. Baily acts a little more human than dog; she loves to be held, loves her toys, loves her belly rubbed, and just loves laying next us. Maddie is a lover, and once you start petting her, she will be your best friend forever.

Our Extended Family

Addison is the youngest of five kids, three boys and two girls. His dad lives just outside of town on a farm with Addison’s eldest brother and his family. Addison’s mom passed away three years ago. She was an advocate of us having children and we are sad she will not be able to enjoy this with us, but we know she would be happy with our decision.

Bernadette is the youngest of three girls. Her middle sister has a daughter, and they live with their parents nearby. Bernadette’s oldest sister is married with three children and a grandchild, who all live together about 10 minutes away. We can’t wait to see our children playing with their cousins, especially at Nana and Papa’s house, where all the toys are. We celebrate birthdays, gather for trips, and spend just about every holiday together.

What Led Us To Adoption

We started our journey to grow our family a couple years after we got married but didn’t have any luck. We figured it wasn’t our time, so we stopped trying. About five years ago, we decided it was time for us to have our family, but after seeing several different infertility specialists and even donors, we were still unsuccessful. We talked about the possibility of adoption as we went through the fertility treatments, and as time passed, we knew we were on board with adoption. Adoption is a blessing, and we can’t wait to share our home, our lives, and all our love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
