dear expectant mother
What is there to say to the person who has the potential to change our lives for the better forever? We would like to start by saying thank you. Thank you for choosing life, and thank you for considering us as the future parents of your child.
When we think about raising your child, we consider the important moments in a child's life. We think about experiencing the child’s first steps and first words. We think about playing games in the yard and swinging on swings. We think about birthdays and sleepovers at cousins’ houses. We consider our current relationships with our parents and how valuable those are to both them and us. Most of all, we consider how much love we have to give and how wonderful it would be to have someone to receive that love.
We couldn’t be happier and more excited that you would consider us to raise your baby. It would be an absolute blessing and an honor to be entrusted with this responsibility. We cannot wait to experience and teach through all the big moments in life, from that first step to your child’s wedding day. We can and are excited to provide your child with all available opportunities. We hope to hear from you soon.
We met through mutual friends at a Halloween party in 2009. We knew it was something special. We spent the following years enjoying the relationship we had created, traveling, and meeting each other’s family and friends. This led to one of the happiest days of our lives when we were married in May 2014. Since marriage, our relationship has only strengthened. We continue to travel and enjoy the company of our friends and large families. We have a total of 12 nieces and nephews and a godson, but we have begun to feel there is something missing in our lives. We both have been blessed with great educations and careers. This gives us the financial means to provide a child any and all opportunities. We look forward to a new “happiest day of our lives” when we adopt a child and fill that missing part in our little family.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a two-story brick home in a very quiet neighborhood far from any busy streets. We and our cat Sammie have three bedrooms and four bathrooms, so there is plenty of room for a growing family. Our two favorite parts of the home are the basement and the yard. The basement is completely finished and is intended to be turned into a playroom. The yard is one of the largest in the neighborhood and has green grass and beautiful shade trees, all perfect for outdoor fun.
Our Extended Family
We are extremely close with our large extended families. When we host Christmas, which we regularly do, our home is filled with 25 to 30 people. We have so many great traditions, including a yearly family reunion canoe trip. We always joke that although that is the “official” reunion, we have family reunions every month as we see each other so often.
One of our absolute favorites is a weekend at our family cottage, which sits on the shores of a beautiful sandy-bottomed inland lake in Northern Michigan. We absolutely cannot wait to share these traditions, and our 12 nieces and nephews are very excited to meet their new cousin.
What Led Us To Adoption
We were originally very nervous about adoption but have several friends and family members who have been through the adoption process. So many of them were happy to share their wonderful experiences. They offered to have dinners to discuss their experiences as well as offered any help we might need along the way. One friend actually ended up adopting a brother and sister as the birth mother had a second child and requested placement with them. When we look at how happy their family is, it gives us every reassurance adoption is the ideal way to grow our happy family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
