Although we have not yet met, you and your baby have already been in our hearts. We firmly believe things happen for a reason and although we don’t always know the reason, we have faith that love will guide us through. This process has been something we’ve been thinking about for a long time. Jessica’s father was adopted, and we got to experience firsthand what unconditional love looks like through adoption. Her grandparents always demonstrated how love, not genetics, made a family.
Even though there aren’t enough words in the universe to accurately describe our love for your child, please know we will give them all we have. All the love, laughter, opportunities, passion, and unconditional support we can possibly provide. And to you, our angel, our forever deepest gratitude for being the answer to our prayers, as we hope we can be the answer to yours.
We met in college in 2002 and were married after graduation in 2004. Building a career and focusing on our education has been important to both of us. Jessica went on to receive her MBA and is a Director of Human Resources for a large state agency. Ben has worked in sales and sale management throughout his career.
Ben’s hobbies include: sports, fishing, camping, cooking, and reading. Jessica’s hobbies include: horseback riding, reading, traveling, playing the piano, gardening, studying history, and spending time outside. Together, we love to travel, volunteer, see movies and plays, and go to baseball games. Also, we are both close with our immediate families, and spend lots of time with them. We are passionate about our faith, family, education, hard work, and trying to give back to the world.
Our Home & Pets
We have lived in our current home since it was built in 2008. It is a 3-bedroom ranch and the backyard is adjacent to a park and greenspace. We love our subdivision because it’s within driving distance of both Milwaukee and Madison (for work, amenities, fun, education, etc.) but located in a peaceful community. There is a nature preserve in our subdivision, featuring a hiking and biking trail, and most of the families in our subdivision have young children. Jessica loves to decorate the home for the various holidays and seasons! We love animals and have a soft-spot for them. We currently have two pets, a cat and a dog. Jessica’s mother, who has many pets herself, also has a horse that the family rides; a passion Jessica has had since she was a child.
Our Extended Family
Ben is youngest of eight children, all of whom are 9 – 21 years older than Ben. Not only is Ben close to his siblings, he is also very close to his many nieces and nephews, many of whom are close to him in age. Ben’s father has since passed away but his mother lives only 10 minutes away so we get to see her often. Four of his siblings live within an hour of us, two live out of state, and one brother has passed away. The family was raised with a strong Christian faith and they all love camping, fishing, and sports; all hobbies Ben loves. Jessica’s mom lives 40 minutes away on a large property full of pets with a private pond; big enough for canoeing, fishing and ice-skating. Jessica’s dad lives in Florida with his wife and is a retired attorney and professional saxophone player. Ben and Jessica visit Florida annually and everyone stays together near a beach, with a stop at Disney World, of course! Jessica’s three siblings all live within 45 minutes of us. Her younger brother and his wife are newlyweds and doctors of physical therapy. Jessica’s older sister is a lawyer with two children and her older brother and his wife are philanthropists and do not have any children. All of Ben and Jessica’s family are incredibly supportive and looking forward to welcoming a baby into the family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our journey to adoption started many years ago when Jessica was young. Jessica’s dad was adopted by the most loving, caring, wonderful parents. As a child, Jessica knew she always wanted to return the same wonderful love her grandparents provided. Before we were even married, we discussed the importance of this and Ben was fully on-board with building our family through adoption. Now that we have built our careers and can provide a financially secure home, we are excited to build our family and share the same love we have received from our families.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
