dear expectant mother

Your decision to pursue adoption must seem overwhelming; weighing the pros and cons and trying to factor in so many unknowns. Coming to this choice is truly courageous and we admire and respect you so much. Though we do not have personal experience with adoption, our extended family has been touched by the blessing of adoption. We are so excited for the opportunity to share in this journey with you. We feel humbled by your strength and grateful for the chance to share our love with your child.

We are honored that you would consider us to become adoptive parents to your baby. The prospect of being able to give your child a life full of love, encouragement, and adventure fills us with joy. We have faced heartbreak and many of our own challenges along the path to parenthood, but our hearts are open and full of renewed hope. We believe everything happens for a reason and we are so thankful our journey has led our paths to cross here!

About Us

We met through mutual friends in high school but didn’t start dating until Ben came home from college and took Breanne to her Senior Prom. We were inseparable that entire summer and continued dating all through college, even though we were at different schools. After graduation, we moved back home to start our careers and get married!

Breanne is a Kindergarten Special Education teacher and Ben works in Digital Marketing. Outside of work, Breanne is a certified yoga instructor and likes staying active and sharing her love of yoga with others. Ben is a musician and enjoys writing/recording new music with friends. Most of all, we love spending time together. We love to travel and explore new places, but also cherish our time at home, spending time with family.

Our Home & Pets

We both instantly fell in love with our house the first time we saw it. It’s a white cape cod with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sits on a corner lot with a large, fenced-in yard and a fully finished basement. Since moving from the city to the suburbs, we’ve especially enjoyed the outdoor space; hosting BBQs with friends and family on the deck and sitting out on the porch swing drinking coffee on weekends. We live on a quiet, tree-lined street full of families with children. It’s just a short block from the elementary school and ten blocks from downtown, where there are many restaurants, coffee shops, and parks.

Our dog, Rona, is an important member of our family. We rescued her when she was just a puppy, seven years ago, and she’s been our “fur baby” ever since. Rona is a 25lb Pug/Terrier mix, who loves taking walks around town and is very excited to become a big sister.

Our Extended Family

We were both raised in loving households where the importance of family was always emphasized. Ben is the oldest in his family and has three younger sisters. Breanne is also the oldest and has two younger sisters. We are fortunate that family members live nearby and we’re often spending time together. It’s become a family tradition to take an annual vacation to Marco Island, Florida, every spring with Breanne’s entire family. We bring grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the dogs to spend a week relaxing in the sun. Our family shares in our joy and excitement at the prospect of growing our family through adoption.

What Led Us To Adoption

After getting married, we knew we wanted to begin trying to grow our family. It quickly became clear that this was going to be more challenging than expected. We spent three years exploring different treatments and seeing infertility specialists, but the results were “inconclusive” and we were unable to conceive on our own. This was heartbreaking, but we feel strongly we have a lot of love to give and are meant to be parents someday.

Breanne has a cousin who was adopted as an infant, which prompted us to start exploring adoption for our own family. The more we thought about this option and discussed it with family, the more it seemed to be the natural choice for us. We are excited to be on this journey and hopeful for the opportunity to finally grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
