dear expectant mother

Hello there!

We are Ken and Becky, and we are so thankful you have taken the time to read a little bit about us to get a glimpse of our family! We have always dreamed of being parents, but due to our infertility struggles, having a biological child was not possible. Adoption is something we are very passionate about as it has touched our lives on a personal level. One of our siblings was adopted at birth, and to this day, our family has a connection with the birth family. We find it is important for the child to know who they are and where they have come from as this is their story, and they are entitled to know it.

We cannot begin to imagine how difficult this is for you, but we want you to know we admire the strength and love you have for your precious child. We hope that through this journey, you are greeted with nothing but kindness, support, and love. Your bravery and sacrifice just shows how powerful of a force you are, and that is something this child deserves to know as it is something that will be ingrained in them as well.

If we are chosen, we would give your child an upbringing that is filled with love, support, respect, and generosity! We promise to encourage your child’s hopes and dreams no matter what they may be!

About Us

Ken is kind, intelligent, creative, and funny! He works within a psychiatric facility as a therapeutic activity service worker. Some of his hobbies include martial arts, music, reading, hiking, and kayaking. Becky is responsible, strong, caring, and kind! She is a medical review supervisor and LPN at a local insurance company. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, family activities, and home renovations. Our relationship all started with a Myspace message after meeting at work in 2008. We instantly connected over our love of the outdoors. What started as a strong friendship led to an amazing love story! We are often found exploring the outdoors, lounging at home with our fur babies, or spending time with family and friends.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small, family-oriented community in Pennsylvania surrounded by parks, hiking trails, and many other activities. Our cozy three-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath home has a large fenced-in yard that is only a block away from our local elementary school and playground. We have two cats named Luna and Gracie along with two small dogs named Oliver and Penelope and an aquatic turtle named Sally Salmonella. When the weather is nice, we enjoy playing in the yard or taking walks around the neighborhood.

Our Extended Family

One of the most important things in our lives is our families. We both come from large families that offer nothing but kindness, encouragement, and love! Our families are extremely involved in our everyday lives, and we would not have it any other way! Between the two of us, we have amazing parents, five siblings, one niece, three nephews, and many others within our extended family!

Throughout the year, we always look forward to the gatherings where we can all be together. Our gatherings always include laughter, good food, and great company! Our families are extremely supportive of our decision to adopt and look forward to forming new memories with us during our adoption journey!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of having children, but we were unaware of the numerous hurdles we would face. After trying for a time, we met with an infertility specialist, which led to a diagnosis of unexplained infertility. We attempted several unsuccessful treatment cycles. Adoption was always a possibility for us. Becky’s little brother was adopted at birth, and our family maintains a relationship with his birth mother. After speaking with our families and having their support and guidance, we knew adoption was for us! We are overjoyed at the thought of entering the next chapter of our lives and expanding our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
