dear expectant mother

We want to thank you for being strong and brave. We truly admire your courage for considering adoption. We know your life will forever be changed, and so will ours. We would like to describe what life would be like for your child to be part of our family, and we hope you will see who we are as a family.

As a family, we are focused on God, time together, and fun. Prayer is important to us; we have been praying for you and your baby for many months, and we will continue to do so. We are active in our church and try to read the Bible as a family several times a week. We all love Jesus and try to please Him with our lives. As a family, we are all friends. We like playing Uno after dinner and making monkey bread for birthdays and holidays. We like to go sledding in the winter and swimming in the summer; we like dressing goofy for Halloween and being with extended family on Christmas. We also like to laugh together.
We have dance parties, eat ice cream, and play silly games.

A new baby will add so much to our family; more laughter, love and memories. We will raise your baby to know God, to love family, and to know how to have fun! Your baby will be adored by us, his or her siblings, and their extended family, as well.

We are thankful. Thank you for your consideration of us as the parents of your child.

About Us

We are Austin and Ashley. We met our senior year in college. After dating for a while we were married on New Years Eve, 2005 and have been happily married ever since. Austin is outgoing, a hard worker, wonderful provider, and integrity is his strength. Ashley is caring, selfless, and highly organized. We like playing in the backyard and going on family walks. We also enjoy traveling together and serving at church and in our community. Austin works with his dad and brother in sales, and Ashley stays home with our kids. Since Austin works for his dad, he has a flexible work schedule.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a very family-friendly area in Illinois, with lots of kids, parks, and even a school in our neighborhood. We have been in our home nearly ten years and have made many updates to make it ours. We have a great backyard, with a swing set, rope swing, and trampoline. We also have a vegetable garden in the summer, and lots of flowers. We spend hours in the backyard every day. Other favorite places in our town are the library and ice cream shop! We also have a ten-month-old puppy named Rascal, who loves running around with kids and eating any food that falls on the floor.

Our Extended Family

We are blessed to have both sets of grandparents within 30 minutes of us. We see our parents and siblings often for birthdays, all holidays, kids sports, and for babysitting. Family is important to us, so we make a priority to support each other and see each other often.

Austin’s parents have a lake house a little under two hours from our house. We have made many wonderful memories here. We enjoy going a few times a month in the summer and love to swim, water ski, and go on the boat. Ashley’s parents come over frequently just to say “hi” and get hugs. They are only fifteen minutes away, so we see them multiple times a week. Our kids love to have sleepovers for their birthdays.

Our best friends live only five blocks away. They have four kids the same ages as our kids, and they have been our biggest motivation for wanting to adopt; they have two adopted kids that we absolutely love!

What Led Us To Adoption

After our youngest daughter was born four years ago, we knew we wouldn’t be having anymore biological children. We also knew our family wasn’t finished. We did foster care for three years and had 12 kids in and out of our home in that time. Each goodbye was so hard. We have several close friends who have adopted, and we feel like God wants us to add to our family through adoption. We think adoption is a beautiful process, and we cannot wait to share our love with another child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
