About Us
We are the epitome of the phrase ‘Opposites Attract’. We truly bring out the best in each other. Carl is quick witted and laid back. Anyssa is outgoing and highly driven. We met eight years ago on a rainy summer day when someone hit Anyssa’s car. Carl was working at the body shop where Anyssa took her car to get fixed, and the rest is history. We live in a small town, but a short drive from many large cities. We love to go to concerts, travel, and make memories. Carl is an electrical maintenance technician at a locally owned business. Anyssa is an executive assistant at a local hospital. As a couple we are loving, dependable, and relatable. On the weekends, you can find us playing with our fur babies, grilling, or spending time with family and friends.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom home in a neighborhood with wonderful neighbors and lots of children to play with. Our neighborhood is safe and quiet. We do have two fur babies who we adore. Skyy is our nine-year-old cat. She is friendly and loves to cuddle. Kuno is our six-year-old German shepherd. He is very friendly and will win over anyone’s heart.
Our Extended Family
Family is the most important thing to us! All of our friends and family were so excited and overcome with joy when we told them we were going to embark on this journey. We hope it will bring you peace to know our friends and family will welcome your child with wide open arms and show your baby endless love and support, just as they have shown us.
Our village is filled with a variety of cultures, occupations, etc. We enjoy learning about their family’s traditions and celebrations. We love spending time together playing board games or cards, grilling out, pool days, annual family vacations, etc. One of our favorite traditions is gathering around the table to make homemade tamales every year for Christmas morning breakfast!
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been heavy on our hearts. We have immediate family members who have placed their child up for adoption and understand that side of adoption first hand. We know our love would be the same whether we had a biological child or not. We are so excited to embark on this journey and share this experience with you. We are open to any level of communication, contact, etc. that you are and will always be here for you.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
