dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We can’t imagine the range of emotions and uncertainty you’re feeling right now. While we can’t take them away, we hope to offer some help. We are hopeful to build a relationship and will be respectful of your wishes and boundaries as well as all-around supportive. We don’t believe you’re reading about us by accident, so maybe we are the family you are looking for, for your sweet little one.
We know this is one of the biggest decisions, if not the biggest decision, you will ever make. What we can assure you about us is this: Your child will always have a safe place to call home and will be loved and nurtured. Your child will get to be completely themselves. Your child’s dreams and goals will be supported, and they will be given every opportunity to be happy and successful.
We want to share with them what a wonderful mother you are and the depth of love you have for them. We appreciate your selflessness, courage, and taking the time to look at our profile. We look forward to talking with you, learning about you, hearing your story, and becoming your friend or family. We are praying for you wherever you are in your journey. But above all, we hope you find the right fit for you and your baby.
Melissa and Anthony
We’re Melissa and Anthony, two fun-loving adoptive parents hoping to complete our family with one more adoption. We are goofy, happy, loyal, and imaginative. We believe a house isn’t a home without a dog and that every person deserves honesty, kindness, and love. We met in high school but didn’t begin dating until some cross-country moves and a few years of life lessons. Despite the fact we both have “numbers” jobs—Anthony as an accounting specialist and Melissa working from home as a medical coder—we always have the ability to calculate up family time, relaxation, and fun. Anthony has mastered toy building and telling bad dad jokes, and Melissa can whip up a perfect birthday or half-birthday cake. We’re madly in love with our son. We just know our hearts will swell even more being blessed with another child and that our son would LOVE to have a partner in crime!
Our Home & Pets
If you’re looking for dog snuggles and a couch that devours you in comfort, look no further. Our home is the place we get to be our authentic selves. Our door is always open, and our golden retriever, Penny, is the first to greet everyone; she loves everybody. No one leaves a stranger or with an empty belly. Our small corner of the world is a four-bedroom home in the suburbs. We love our huge backyard, our community, the activities, the parks, the trails, and our neighbors. We couldn’t pick a better place to raise our family. We take full advantage of wearing flip flops year round and living close to our families and friends…and their pools of course!
Our Extended Family
We are surrounded by a large group of friends and family who love us and our son unconditionally. Their support is unwavering, their hugs are pure comfort, and we always laugh together. They cannot wait to welcome another baby into our family. Anthony has a younger brother who lives in Nevada, while his parents are just down the road. Melissa has an older brother and sister (plus her family). Her siblings and parents/bonus parents all live nearby.
We see our families regularly, whether it’s for a quick bite to eat or having a movie/game night. We take annual Disney World trips together to see the parks and visit Anthony’s extended family who live in the Orlando area.
Holidays are when life gets extra fun! It’s exciting getting to coordinate family Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating. We love all holidays, but Christmas is extra magical. Baking all types of treats, an annual sugar cookie decorating contest, matching Christmas pajamas, and partaking in a hilarious White Elephant gift exchange are some things we love to do each year. We love our families so much, and we’re all excited and hopeful to welcome a new baby to a world of love, fun, and family.
Our Adoption Story
Adoption is a huge blessing in our family and is very welcomed. Our first son, David, is adopted and deeply adored by everyone in our lives! Melissa’s dad and many family members are also adopted. We connected with a biological aunt in the past three years; it’s been fun for us to welcome new family members into our lives, so we know how special adoption is. Melissa suffers with fertility challenges, and having a baby naturally hasn’t happened. We’ve always wanted to adopt aside from this anyway. We could not be more excited and hopeful to grow our family again! We look forward to giving your baby unconditional love and a wonderful home to uphold our promises to you.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
