dear expectant mother
We want to bestow our values of love, kindness, tenacity, and truth as well as help develop a little person to find their love in life, whatever that brings. We can’t wait to play, explore, and teach. We are looking forward to simple and silly things like first diapers, night feedings, tantrums, teeth, steps, and words as well as first hobbies, favorite subject in school, chores, break-ups, and first rebellions!
One of things we are most excited about is we are avid Harry Potter fans. We can’t wait to give our child their Hogwarts wizard letter and then take them to Universal to meet the characters, get their wands, and just be a kid! We work hard to save money and have a simple life so we can take time and money to do fun things. Our goal is to give our child a safe and happy home, teach them skills, and make them an independent adult as much as possible to be able to face obstacles and give back when they can. We want them to reach their potential on their terms. Maybe they will be into science, art, or sports. Maybe they will share one of our religions…maybe they won’t. We just want to teach them what we know and have them write their own rules. We cannot wait to be parents.
Annette completed tens years of education and supervision to become a licensed mental health therapist and addiction counselor. She loves supporting individuals and families to navigate their lives based on their mental health and family goals. Todd is a journeyman lineman, and he works with high-voltage towers and poles. He supported New Yorkers during Hurricane Sandy. We love what we do and support each other in our craft. Our jobs both focus on helping people with their basic needs, including during a crisis. We feel fortunate to have gone through our extensive training so we can help others. Now that we have created financial security and a strong foundation, we know the time is right to finally start growing our family. We want nothing more than to become parents. We have worked so hard and are so excited to be here!
Our Home & Pets
We recently moved into a safe, kind, and welcoming community. We worked hard to find a home in the school district with top marks. Our living room has a space between the kitchen where we will play games, and we know exactly where we will put our Christmas tree—Harry Potter themed of course! Our backyard feels like a forest or park with half an acre to run and play in. We live within minutes of the ocean and state parks. We cannot wait to explore this with our child.
Our Extended Family
Annette’s family includes her mom, dad, three brothers, two nieces, and sister-in-law. Her sister-in-law and nieces do rodeos for horse barrel racing all over the country. We can’t wait to have our little one hang out with cousins and ride horses like a real cowboy/girl! Thanksgiving is the main tradition each year because our family loves food. We try to go down south at least once a year to visit grandparents and kiddos…and eat of course!
Todd’s family includes his parents, older brother, younger sister, two nieces, and nephew. We try to visit once a year to do something fun with the kiddos. Last time his sister visited us, and we took Todd’s niece to the fun house, where she could dress up, climb, explore, and do science and art projects. They are visiting this Fourth of July, and we plan to have lake time. We also try to visit his grandparents every other year. The last time we visited we went to a bird museum, and it was amazing to see all kinds of birds fly, eat, and hunt. We love his grandparents because they share so much kindness and history and love to explore!
What Led Us To Adoption
We believe families come in all shapes and sizes, so we have always wanted to adopt. When Annette started working with little children in 2015, the urge grew stronger. We also started trying naturally. It took us some time to save up money to pursue adoption, including picking the right home and community. We have done that and want to move forward with adoption. Sometimes people don’t understand why we want to have both biological and adoptive children. We don’t understand why you would want to limit your life with one road. A recent study showed the bonding and love areas of the brain are the same for adoptive and biological children. We have no doubt this is correct because we already feel it.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
