dear expectant mother

We hope you know how completely in awe we are of you. Your strength and courage will forever be appreciated. We are so thankful you are considering us to be part of this beautiful story. Our hearts will always be grateful for this gift you are considering giving us, and we hope to give you so much peace through this journey if you choose us.

Our biggest hope and prayer is that you and your baby will always feel fully seen, valued, and loved in our family. We want to always honor you and your heritage, history, and story when it comes to how we raise your baby. We are looking forward to family walks to the park, giggles on swingsets, and throwing rocks in the river together. Those are a few of our favorite family times. We also look forward to getting through the tough times together as a family, supporting and loving each other through every season of life.

If we are chosen to love your baby, we will be over-the-moon excited to welcome them into a huge extended family with lots of cousin playdates and grandparent cuddles. We will share our love of nature, laughter, and family with them always and cannot wait to discover who they become.

About Us

We are Matthew and Anita from Washington. We are best friends and have been married for eight years now. We have one son, Alonzo, who is five years old. We met in 2007 when we both worked together at a little restaurant in New Mexico. We automatically became close friends, workout buddies, and movie companions. Years later, we realized it was love and that we wanted to grow a family together, so we got married. Anita works as a doula. She feels so incredibly lucky to be able to do a job she is absolutely in love with! Matthew works for our family business as a sales manager and has enjoyed the freedom to grow as a professional there. Alonzo is starting school this year and is convinced he knows everything already. He is very excited for a little sibling!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a cute community in the country. When we go walking in the evenings and the outside smells like camping, we breathe in deep and feel so grateful to live here. We have a community pool we love to use in the summer. There is a park and a river just a five-minute walk from our house, and we love going on frequent walks there with our dog, Flex. It is always a good evening when we get to spend it by the river. We have a big, fenced backyard and love to spend time in our hot tub back there while watching Alonzo and Flex run around and play together.

Our Extended Family

Anita’s family is huge. She is number seven of twelve kids! Her parents have thirty-some grandkids already and are excited to welcome more! Cousin playdates are one of Alonzo’s favorite ways to spend his time. One of our favorite things to do with the family is Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations because we rent a big boathouse and spend the day eating, laughing, playing card games, and eating some more!

Matthew has two sisters, and each of them has four kids. He grew up very close to his sisters, and they all still look out for each other although we live far from them. It is so much fun to plan trips to go visit Matthew’s family, and when we do, they all make an effort to spend as much time with us as possible. Our favorite thing to do with Matthew’s family is to sit in a big living room together playing games, watching movies and joking loudly with each other.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are so excited for this adoption journey! A few of our close friends have adopted over the past years, and we always felt it was something that would be right for us. Anita has worked with families, mothers, and babies for many years, and the more time that passed, the more sure it made us in our decision to adopt. We have one biological son, Alonzo, and strongly feel adding another child through adoption will help complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
