dear expectant mother
Thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. While the pictures and the words included in this profile can never fully convey our hearts and the love that we already have for the precious child that God is in the process of bringing into our family through adoption, we are excited to share this brief glimpse into our lives.
We do not know the details of your situation, but we know that our God knows them intimately and has chosen from the beginning of time to weave our stories together in this way. We know that these words could never eliminate the many difficulties you have faced and continue to face over the nine months that you will carry this tiny baby inside of you, but we hope that they are an encouragement to you as you continue down the path of adoption — choosing life and hope for this child that will soon make an entrance into the world, and into so many lives and hearts forever.
We are thankful for you — even if our stories never intersect. Thank you for choosing LIFE for this beautiful baby. Thank you for the brave choice of putting another’s needs ahead of your own and walking down this path even when it seems uncertain. You are not alone — and this tiny baby is already more loved than you can imagine. If our paths do cross, know that we have already been holding you in our prayers as you continue on this journey. We truly look forward to getting to know you.
We have been married for over six years, and we have a very full life! Andrew is the vice president of the event company where he works, and Kami is a teacher with a Master’s degree in Spanish linguistics (who hopes to speak Spanish to our future children as they grow up). Our marriage is rooted in our Christian faith, and we love to spend time serving alongside our church family (which is actually where we met). We both love music (and each play a variety of instruments), traveling (and have already visited several countries together), cooking (especially since Andrew’s dad is 100% Italian and he was raised in a restaurant family), and spending time with friends and family around our dining room table. Hospitality is central to both of our lives. We love hosting holidays, dinner parties, and creating new traditions with friends and family as we continue to grow in our life together. Our marriage is built on mutual trust, care, respect, and honesty. We continue to learn and grow together every day. We look forward to sharing our values, our interests, and our heritage of faith with our future children.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a desired area inside a top-rated school district. Our neighborhood is a blend of old and new. Many families have lived here for decades, and others (like us) have purchased their first home here and are just starting out as young families. We live within one mile of two golf courses (and across the road from a park), so the scenery is beautiful. Our tree-lined streets are perfect for biking, walking your dogs, or going for an after-dinner stroll. Our home is one story (2 bed, 2 bath) with wood floors and a finished basement. One of our favorite parts of the house is our large dining room — with up to twelve seats for dinner guests! We have a beautiful fenced-in back yard with a deck and a variety of flowers and bushes that look lovely year-round lining our stone walkway.
Our Extended Family
Andrew was raised in the Midwest and grew up playing sports with his older sister. His entire family lives close to our home, and we enjoy having dinner together on the weekends. We also spend many holidays as a family and vacation together every other year.
Kami grew up on a farm in the South with five siblings. Her family is more geographically spread out now that everyone is getting married and starting families, but we still spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together. We enjoy seeing each other more frequently during the summer, and we try to meet up for baseball games and family dinners on holiday weekends when our work schedules allow.
Together Andrew and Kami have three nephews — ages 3 to 5 — and a baby niece who was born in September 2017! (So excited for a little girl in the family!) We love watching them grow! Our extended family is very important to us, and they are so excited about us growing our family through adoption.
What Led Us To Adoption
The thought of adoption is very precious to us for many reasons. As Christians, one of the most central beliefs that we hold is that we have been adopted by God into His family through the work of Jesus. We want to live in a way that reflects this precious truth. Andrew has also grown up seeing the beauty of adoption first-hand, as two of his cousins were adopted as infants and have grown up to raise families. (His cousin, Ryan, who is closest to him in age actually lives less than a mile from our house with his wife and two kids.) While we have tried to conceive biologically and have been unable to thus far, we do not see adoption as “Plan B” for our lives — far from it! We believe adoption has been God’s “Plan A” for our lives all along, and we look forward to seeing how He grows our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
